"It happened because you saved my life?" he asked.
"In a way, yes. The correct answer is because I took out the poison I gave you," I said.
'We take, but don't give,' Azure's had said to once.
"I am not to give life, Dem. I am to take. I am not to take the poison I gave you. My poison is supposed to kill anyone who is not of my bloodline. If I take the poison from soone's blood, it not only saves their life but also gives them a long life, which makes them half mortal. I am not supposed to do that.
It's like I am being punished and warned. My power to control werewolves was taken away and instead, I am given the power to control animals."
Dem slid his hand to the back of my neck and pulled my face closer. He pressed our foreheads together as he let out a sigh.
"Do you regret it? It's an important part of a dark mage's power…"
"Even if I knew I would lose all my power to save you, I would save you nonetheless. Rember, it was never about power. It's about us. You and and our little family. Nothing and no one cos before it," I said and closed the distance between us and kissed him.
It was a short kiss as I pulled back quickly. He stared at as if I had done sothing he never wanted to do.
"You are hungry," I said.
He nudged his face between my breasts. "For sothing other than food."
"I would rather have food first," I said and kissed his nose. "Be patient, honey. You might get more than you thought of if you are patient."
"You always give more than I need in everything," he said. "And like the selfish guy I am, I keep wanting more. The fact that I don't even feel sorry that you have lost an important part of your power because of makes feel guilty. I am only glad that you have chosen and you would choose over everything else."
"That's okay. I know you would do the sa for . And I wouldn't feel that sorry either if you were in my position. I would have been happy that you chose , just like you are. It's okay. We are both selfish," I said.
"And honestly, if love is not about selfishness, then I don't know what is."
That night, we went on a date after a long ti. Ruby and Luc took care of Dion. It was more like Dem kind of left Dion at their place out of nowhere and since they both loved Dion like their own, they did not mind at all.
"I can't believe you actually did that."
"They have been trouble-free for too long," Dem said as we raced through the wind on his horse.
"Really? We have a child and they don't. Of course, they have been in less trouble than us," I said.
"It's weird how we will have two kids before they could even think of having one," Dem said. "It's like we are going too fast."
"About the second kid, yeah, it looks like we are going too fast. But then again, we did not plan it. It was an accident, but an accident that we would love a lot. If I was not pregnant already, we would have chosen to have a kid later, a lot later than now," I said. "Besides, we had not even decided if we would have another one or not."
"That's true. I think I am a little afraid about the giving birth part. I am worried about you. And all the things you said only an that it had been really hard."
"I think it was hard because it was my first ti and it was also unassisted. I only had Evan there who was just as inexperienced as ."
"It hurt, didn't it?"
"Honestly, yes. But I believe it will be better this ti because I have gone through it once, and I know what to expect."
"Speaking of the first ti, our first ti did not start well."
"It hurt. But the rest of the night was great."
"I was so confused," he chuckled. "It was my first ti seeing a real woman's body like that. I was like- is it going in the right direction?"

I had no idea why we went in the middle of a forest, but we did. Dem was pretty certain that he found a nice space.
"Why do I have the feeling that you are going to take to a hut or a forest cabin and we are going to make out?" I muttered.
"I want to make out with you, but no, we are not going to go in a hut or a forest cabin. What the hell, Blue? It's a date."
"You are the one who cos up with the weirdest ideas."
"All of them are realistic and better than those candlelit dinners. They are too overrated. The candlelight gives a headache."
"So, where are we going?"
He slowed the horse down and after a few minutes, we reached what looked like a moderately open space with a small pond in the middle. It was night and it was a full moon, I noticed.
Full moons affected Dem a lot. But we had not done it on full moons for a few months now. It was because I was pregnant and Dem was afraid of hurting . Luc made him a potion that helped, but not entirely. Even when I said I would be okay, he would not listen to .
The full moon made the clear water of the pond look beautiful and blue. The stars reflected on the water and made it look serene.
"It's a full moon," I muttered.
"Having a child truly sses with your head and body," Dem said. "You know what? Because we were having a conversation all the way here, my dumbass didn't even notice it. And only now, I find out it's a full moon night. Can you fucking believe it? I literally did not rember… Oh my fucking…!"
"Co on. It's not bad. I'm fine. Can't you see?" I said as I hugged him.
He sighed. "I practically am not feeling that much of a thing right now. Perhaps we should return quickly."
"You said Luc and Ruby that we can even stay out all night. Wait…"
And the next mont, we teleported back to the palace, left the horse in the stable, and teleported to the magic tower. How could all of us forget that it was a full moon night?
Luc and Ruby had been busy with work lately and Dem and I were busy with work and our son. It went out of all of our heads that the mates werewolves would feel an intense need to make love on a full moon night and it could get pretty dangerous.
The idea of our date went right out of our mind and we took Dion from them as quickly as possible.
"I'm honestly sorry. It completely left my mind that it's a full moon night," I said.
"It's fine. It can happen," Ruby said. Her face was a little red.
"No, no, we did wrong. We will leave right now. Gosh, we almost… Anyway, enjoy your private mont," I said.
"Alright, now return to the bedroom and go to sleep now that it has co to this," Dem said when we got out of the magic tower.
"Dion is asleep and he has a room, Dem. We got him a room for many reasons and one of them is so we can have so private ti," I said.
"Blue…"
"If you don't do it with , I am taking Dion away for a whole month. You won't even find us, I swear, unless…"
"Alright, let's go. Let's give you the best fuck ever. My love, don't regret it. You brought it upon yourself."
