Chapter 615: Almost over

Blue

"They aren’t coming with us?’’ Major asks

calmly.

I don’t think he has any issues with it.

"No, I don’t want them involved in this anymore. this is the end; I am sure of it.’’ I tell him.

He raises a brow but there is a smile on his face "I am ready for this to be over. the evil in this place just needs to fucking leave."

"It’s ending right now.’’

His smile widens "Oh, soone is so sure of themselves. What if it doesn’t work?’’ he asks.

I shake my head "I know it will work."

That voice in my head is beating

up completely. Just shouting to , telling

that this is the end and I am listening to it wholeheartedly. My hands shake as we walk down the stairs, as we get to the potion room.

"the place looks a lot different. doesn’t stink as much as it used to,’’ he tells .

Fuck, Major is amazing. He has done so much for a place that cast him out. he is a true leader.

"You need to take over this place. you need to bring this place back up.’’ I tell him honestly, from the bottom of my heart.

He smiles "This place is not ready for soone like ."

"What do you an?’’

We stop in front of the potion room and he opens the door "Soone young. soone that doesn’t have the sa beliefs that the elders did."

I nod "That is exactly what this place needs. No one is going to disagree with you. you literally saved this town from going downhill."

"You are the next in line."

"I don’t want it."

He sighs "It is your ho. It will always be your ho and you will always be a part of the royal lineage."

I shake my head "My ho is a community of wolves. That is where I belong, with my mates."

This is how I feel. This is how I will always feel.

No matter what he says.

"Am I ever going to be able to convince you?’’

I shake my head. "Never."

"Then I guess I won’t try again."

"You should think about it. I know this is your calling but you have to accept it on your own." I add because even though I don’t want to push him to do this, I want him to at least think about it because I know that it will be a good thing for the coven.

He nods in agreent. I don’t know if I am closer to convincing him but I have tried. I don’t want to leave this place without it being sorted but at the end of it all, it is out of my control.

We enter the room and I look around. This place that was once a death trap suddenly looks so clean and normal. I didn’t think it would be possible. The stench that used to be here is no longer there. It slls completely normal.

"How did you get rid of the sll,’’ I look at him in admiration.

He did this all on his own. a house that isn’t his in the first place and he did wonders to this really dark place. he shrugs and I watch him feel around the room. His hands resting on the walls. These walls that were covered in blood, these walls that looked dead, the color that they held is finally showing.

This room.

"I used a spell,’’ he smiles and his dimples pop out cheekily.

"There is a spell for everything man,’’ I laugh trying to lighten the mood. This place is making everything tense. No matter how clean this place becos, the mories will always linger. I will never see it as anything but that.

"You know, you never really gave magic a chance. Once you do, your whole world will change."

He is still smiling but I don’t even want to talk about my inability to accept magic. "So, how do we do this?’’ I ask him, changing the topic.

We both walk over to the book at the sa ti. he doesn’t seem nervous.

"Aren’t you scared of this thing?’’ I ask him as he brushes his finger on the book.

"I am not accepting evil into my heart. I don’t need this book for anything so I doubt the book will even need .’’

He is saying this so casually. He is so sure of himself. this is exactly how I was when I was talking to Gyles and Rex but now, I am not so sure anymore.

"You wanna do it or ?’’ he asks.

Please you.

Those words are in my mind but the look on his face almost makes

think that he read my mind.

I don’t want to do this.

But you have to.

You said you wanted to protect them and you are pushing this to soone else. As usual.

My wolf is stern right now but there is so truth to his words.

I am pushing it to Major. On the off chance that sothing happens. He would be the one to bear it alone. He has done so much for

and I am quick to just push it all to him. I have to do better. I have to be better.

"I’ll do it,’’ I state, quickly grabbing the book.

The book is cold—as cold as ice. it almost takes a lot from

not to drop it. Major is watching , but there is no fear in his eyes.

He is not scared.

"Open it,’’ he urges.

I try to open it but it doesn’t open "It is stuck,’’ I inform him as I try harder.

He nods "You have to let it in. if you don’t, it won’t let you in.’’

He says like he knows what the book is thinking. I roll my eyes because I don’t know how else I could let this book in. I don’t want to let the book in. I don’t want anything to do with it but I just want them all to be free. I feel all this anger inside , I am vibrating with rage and I feel it all transfer to the hard copy in my grip. I feel the book tremble. I feel it shake as it opens.

OKAY.
