Chapter 419: Congratulations

I don’t know how many days have passed since I ca into this cave. It feels like my body is shutting down. I have never really thought about food the way I am right now. I don’t even know if it is hunger or thirst. I just want to put sothing inside my mouth. I am all out of energy. My eyes are barely open, I feel like my wolf is as drained as I am.
I don’t know how much more of this I can take. I can’t help but worry about Gyles and Rex. I don’t know how they are doing and it is driving
insane. My heart is hurting, just from the short amount of ti we have been apart.
I wish I knew how they were doing.
I have been trying to be brave and strong for both of them. this is the first ti we have been away from each other for so long. I wish I knew if they were ok.
I have been doing my best to hold on, to be strong. I don’t want to risk going to sleep anymore. I am afraid I will never wake up again. I am so tired that I don’t even realize my eyes are slowly closing. I am so tired that the floor beneath
seems like a cloud. The next thing I know I am drifting off into a deep sleep.
In my sleep I see them. I see Gyles and Rex. Both of them are struggling to survive. It seems that they have been going through the sa thing that I have been going through. I know this is all a dream, I know I don’t actually know what is happening with them but for the short minute, I feel solace, knowing they are alive and fighting. My eyes open slowly as I hear a soft sound, almost like footsteps. I am still too tired to open my eyes. I don’t even know if I am awake. I hear the sound again but this ti I know it is not a dream.
I feel the wind on my skin and I know that soone is here. I open my eyes and I see the light of the moon. I see a figure standing next to . I try to move but my body won’t respond. the figure slowly walks towards . I am too tired to move. I don’t have the strength to get up.
"Don’t worry, you are safe now,’’ I hear her voice. It is soft and gentle, yet strong and powerful. I am still too weak to even speak.
"Shhhh, you don’t have to speak. you are safe now," she whispers. She leans in and brushes her lips against my forehead. I feel my wolf waking up again. I can feel my strength coming back to .
"Who are you?" I ask.
"My na is Selene,’’ she tells
gently. Her voice is like the sun warm and bright. I have never heard a voice like her’s before. I realize that I am staring at her. I feel my cheeks getting warm.
"I am sorry I don’t know what is happening,’’ I manage. My voice is hoarse and weak.
"It’s ok, you are just weak. You have been through a lot. You are hungry and you have been in bad shape. It will all be ok now," she tells . I look at her and I can see the silver of her eyes. They are beautiful, it feels like I am looking at a god.
"Is it over?’’ I ask her because I just want to complete the ritual without any more complications.
She nods and smiles.
"You have done good, you have been strong," she says to

"All the things that happened to
in here... were they real?’’ I ask her. I want to know because the thought of even losing Gyles and Rex is more than I can bear.

Her voice is gentle yet powerful.
I think for a mont and I realize that I have learned so much from this. I have learned how to survive; I have learned that I need to make my own choices. I have learned that I need to trust my instincts.
"Yes,’’ I tell her.
"Well then, you should be proud of yourself, you have learned a lot. I am proud of you, you have been strong and brave," she tells .
"I learned that I don’t want to be alone and that I need the both of them,’’ I tell her.
"Good, you will have them back soon, but first you need to take this," she says to .
I look at her and she hands
a small glass vial. I look at her and I do not know what to do.
"Go ahead, it’s ok,’’ she smiles. I look at the vial and I take it from her. I look at it for a mont not sure what to do.
"Trust ," she says and I look at her. I look at the vial and I feel my wolf stir inside . I know what to do, I know that I need to drink the liquid inside it. I bring the vial to my lips and I take a small sip. My eyes widen as I feel the liquid burning inside .
I feel my body getting warm as the liquid spreads inside . I can feel my body tingling and I know that this is what I need. My eyes et hers and I know that she knows what I need. I take another sip and she smiles at . I take one more sip and I can feel my body getting warr.

I know that I am safe with her, I have nothing to worry about. With my eyes closed, I hear her footsteps as she walks away from .
