Chapter 358: Get through the night

It would have been easier going back to the house. I an they are coming to the community; werewolf turf and I don’t know how this is going to turn out. I an, they were here the last ti. Eli and Elu are used to the community. They have spent a lot of ti here, so I don’t have a problem with them and Darrien. Darrien is with Jabi. A part of him belongs here.
The only person I am worried about is Belis. My relationship with Belis is mostly cordial. He hasn’t had much to say about
leaving ho and ending up with a wolf. He has never really been a problem. He usually liked to stay out of everyone’s business and I think that is why I haven’t really had any issues with him. Belis is going to be coming today with Father and the rest of the family.

I open my eyes wide "No, I want them to show up. This has to happen. For the union to be complete,’’ I explain to him how I have been feeling. The thing is, I have completely given myself to Beau and this pregnancy is a step further to our future. We are both different kinds. This is sothing that wasn’t even supposed to happen but us coming together is just the deities saying that love is all that matters. It doesn’t matter that I am a vampire and he is a wolf. I know it is going to take a long ti for the supernatural world to fully accept this but the first step is my family, accepting my new family.
"Our union is fucking complete,’’ he says deadpan.

I smile. Beau has no care in the world. our relationship is all that matters to him but to make a change, we have to face the world. we have to show them that this is not a problem. Our union is accepted by the gods and that is all I want.

I hear the footsteps before the door even opens and I am sure Beau hears it too "They are here, are you ready?’’ he asks . I open my eyes and he has a smile on his face. I nod, letting go of him. one of the guards on duty tonight walks in, behind him, Cranwell smiles as he stands there.

Because of that, he has completely withdrawn from all of us. it is not like we have a bad relationship. My relationship with Darrien was worse than the one I have with Belis. Let’s just say I barely have a relationship with him. I think that sounds better.

I take a deep breath "He will be here; let’s all sit down.’’ I lead them to the table and they all take their seats. I watch the scene in front of , once they are all seated and my heart lts. I am nervous right now but I already know that things are going to end well.
