The drive to the trailer park is shorter than the last ti I was here. Maybe all the worries are starting to kick in. I promised to et up with Major. I don’t even know what I am going to do with him but I have to find a way to help him. I park the car and start the five-minute walk to Em’s trailer. Once in front of it, I clutch the book tightly, I want to just return it safe and sound. I don’t want any more added problems.
The door to his trailer opens and it almost seems like he was expecting . looking at Em, I realize that he manages the magic well. It doesn’t seem like it is affecting him.

My phone rings in my pocket and my heart stops for a second, for the fear that sothing else has happened. I see Jules’s picture on the screen and that panic subsides. "Hello,’’ I answer the call.
"I have been calling you,’’ I sense the worry in his voice.
"I am so sorry, a lot has been going on that’s why. I am leaving the coven tonight.’’ I tell him.
"Is your mother okay?’’ he asks.
I take a deep breath because he doesn’t even know what has happened to her. I suddenly realize that I haven’t been communicating with him since I got here. I don’t think this is sothing to tell him over the phone.
"Yeah, I am going to stop by your place before I head back to the community, is that fine?’’ I ask him even though I know that he is going to be excited about it. Jules will take any opportunity he gets to see

the address he is staying at. I just want to make a quick stop. See him and figure out what he plans to do. I will support him completely but this is not a battle that I am even interested in fighting. All I care about are those guys that are waiting for
