He couldn’t do much about the bed, as it was already soaked, but he still managed to handle these personal belongings of Ji Xiaoxi.

Just staring at the cotton fabric pieces crumpled in his hand, Zhou Wang found himself lost in thought again.

At six in the morning, in the dim light, a red Porsche Cayenne slowly parked by the roadside. Just as Chen He was about to speak, Ji Xiaoxi, from behind, already said, “Don’t… don’t stop here. Drive into the underground parking lot.”
Chen He opened his mouth, surprised, but since his girlfriend requested it, he nodded obediently and restarted the car.
After the vehicle entered the underground garage and reached the elevator entrance of Ji Xiaoxi’s building, Ji Xiaoxi struggled a bit to sit up and attempted to open the door to get out.
Chen He glanced at Ji Xiaoxi’s awkward posture through the rearview mirror and couldn’t help turning his head to ask, “Can you walk? Are you sure you don’t need to take you upstairs?”
Ji Xiaoxi’s body visibly trembled, reflexively turned her face away, and squeezed her legs together, replying with a trembling voice, “Don’t… don’t look at !”
“Xiaoxi, what’s the matter with you?”
Chen He could no longer hold back and asked, “Why do I feel like you’ve been acting strange ever since… since you ca out of the bathroom, not letting touch you, insisting on sitting in the back, and not even allowing to look at you!”
“I’m fine, I just threw up in the bathroom, it slls a bit, and I must look terrible now…”
A slightly flustered Ji Xiaoxi explained in a soft voice.
“But I wouldn’t mind that!”
Already suspicious, Chen He tentatively asked, “Did you… did you et anyone in the bathroom?”
“No, no way would there be anyone in the bathroom… why would you ask that?”
Ji Xiaoxi’s heart tightened, and she feigned confusion as she questioned him back.
“Nothing, it’s just that you seem strange.”
Chen He felt guilty, grinned awkwardly.
Ji Xiaoxi didn’t say anything more, opened the door, and got out of the car without waving goodbye to Chen He as she usually did, but instead bent over and quickly ran into the elevator.
Watching Ji Xiaoxi disappear, Chen He’s feelings were complicated and hard to articulate.
In those ten or so minutes… what really happened?
Could the two of them have kissed?
Chen He recalled Ji Xiaoxi’s ssy makeup and faded lips, and suddenly his expression changed, holding his breath.
But then he thought it was impossible. Not to ntion Ji Xiaoxi wasn’t that kind of person. With her severe germophobia, she’d never accept intimate actions without freshening up…
Thinking this way, Chen He cald down, though he still felt uneasy.
The knuckles gripping the steering wheel turned white, but he didn’t forget what needed to be done. He took out his phone to check and saw that Zhou Wang hadn’t yet accepted his friend request. Thinking for a mont, he edited a ssage and sent it:
“Hahaha, Brother Zhou, did you forget to hit accept? (silly smile)”
Exiting the request interface, he turned and saw an unread ssage from last night.
Sister Yan: “I was very satisfied last ti. See you at the usual place at nine tomorrow night~”
Why is there such a big demand at her age?

Chen He felt incredibly disgusted but quickly replied with an emoji and typed:
“Sorry, baby, I just saw this… um, just to confirm, are we still buying the wolf teeth?”

Ji Xiaoxi gently twisted open the door to her ho. After confirming the living room was quiet, she took off her high heels and carried them in her hand, tiptoeing inside.
Once back in her bedroom, she closed the door, finally relaxing.
Just as she was about to take off her long dress and free her sticky body that had been like that all along the way, noises ca from outside.
Ji Xiaoxi didn’t have ti to complain about how her mother woke up so early despite it being sumr vacation. Instead, she quickly kicked her high heels under the bed, threw herself onto the bed, and wrapped herself tightly with the blanket.
Just after she finished, the door opened slightly and her mother walked in.
Seeing her daughter still “asleep,” Ji Xiaoxi’s mother was about to turn and leave when she frowned suddenly and approached the bed.
Ji Xiaoxi’s heart was about to leap out of her chest, but luckily, her mother only shook her head in resignation, saying, “This child, the blanket is upside down… hmm? What is that strange sll?”
Ji Xiaoxi’s mother walked to the window, cracked it open a bit, and then left the room.
