After gently placing Qu Peining on the bed, Zhou Wang pulled over a nearby blanket, intending to remove the bath towel she was wrapped in, but felt a slight resistance.
He looked up to see Qu Peining clutching the towel, shaking her head at him.
“But this towel is wet…”
Qu Peining didn’t speak, just kept shaking her head, her gaze sowhat inexplicably dazed.
“Alright, alright, whatever you say. You can stay wrapped in it for now.”
Thinking over, Zhou Wang solemnly said to Qu Peining, “Qu Peining, I’m going to find so clean clothes and food for you now, and may leave for a few minutes. Considering your physical state, I won’t tie you up again, but I hope you can stay here honestly while I’m gone. Can you promise ?”
