Philosophy tells us that everything has two sides.

It all starts with the preparation for the Wang Foundation charity gala.

For Zhou Wang, it was his first ti in Magic City, and possibly the second ti after the "Wuyou Night" to make an appearance in a public business setting. Whether Zhou Wang wanted to take it seriously or not, it was destined to be an extrely significant event.

Just the preliminary work had Xu Wenqian running around Magic City for more than two months. When the date of the gala was set, Xu Wenqian, along with Lin Ran, and the hastily adapted Qi Jiayi, were so busy they were dizzy. Zhou Wang barely saw a shadow of them in this past week.

This was even with the assistance of a third-party company, so you could imagine how busy they were. Occasionally bumping into Xu Wenqian at ho, Zhou Wang noticed she had lost a lot of weight; her chin sharp enough to play an elf.

But Zhou Wang himself wasn’t having an easy ti either.

His main task was to create the guest list.

This sounds simple, but even for ordinary people hosting a banquet, you have to consider who needs a call, who needs a visit, and who can just receive a ssage, let alone the social circle at Zhou Wang’s level.

Just deciding who to invite took Zhou Wang several days to ponder. Once the official guest list was finalized, it entered the most torturous phase for Zhou Wang.

People like Guo Wangshan and Wang Shang who were in Magic City were easy; Zhou Wang visited them and conveniently handed over the invitations. But those top figures in other places were quite a headache.

Despite being too lazy to travel, Zhou Wang ultimately adopted a compromise strategy.

Most of the top figures he knew were in Beidou, so Zhou Wang asked Young Master Qiu to represent him and personally deliver the invitations to those top figures.

With Qiu Zeyu’s status, it was naturally sufficient within the Beidou circle and not disrespectful.

Of course, this alone was definitely not enough, so Zhou Wang spent a lot of ti making phone calls to those high-status individuals, explaining why he couldn’t personally deliver the invitations, at least smoothing things over superficially.

Then there was the Hang City circle, represented by Young Master Zhang’s uncle, Zhang Shihao.

For these people, it was natural for Zhou Wang to have Young Master Zhang handle it.

"That damn Zhou Wang, always ordering around. You’re just a short trip away from Magic City, and I’m all the way in Guizhou!"

Being in Guizhou running around for the Miao Village developnt plan, Young Master Zhang cursed right when Zhou Wang called him.

But after cursing, Young Master Zhang still flew to Hang City the next day after receiving Zhou Wang’s call, helping Zhou Wang with the ceremony.

...Fortunately, in Young Master Zhang’s own imagination, Zhou Wang was simply too busy to spare any ti.

If he knew Zhou Wang was tired because he was hanging out with Guo Bing and Shao Xiaoqi every day, listening to songs, Young Master Zhang would probably be ready to pick up a knife.

Of course, the probability of him cutting anyone other than Zhou Wang was quite high.

That’s why Guo Bing and Shao Xiaoqi, feeling very guilty lately, hardly dared to speak in the "nephew group," fearing Young Master Zhang would pick up on sothing suspicious.

Besides, there were guests from Ming City or rather Yunan Province.

This part was relatively easier to handle, as it only required Chen i to run around as his representative, since the involved personnel were not too many.

Ultimately, what really gave Zhou Wang a headache were these won who were quite close to him.

Jiang Qingkui and Xu Wenqian had a subordinate relationship and didn’t require managent; they presumably understood the appropriate boundaries. But arranging for the others was quite a ntal workout for Zhou Wang.

In the end, Zhou Wang couldn’t figure it out, so he settled on one principle...

That is, the fewer things, the better; fewer attendees ant fewer uncertainties, as uncertainties tend to increase exponentially with more people.

First off, there were the dorm sisters headed by Su Yajing from Colorful; these girls were easier to placate. Although they heard about Zhou Wang preparing a high-profile gala and all expressed willingness to help, once Zhou Wang subtly hinted he would be very busy, they all obediently said they wouldn’t co to create chaos...

Of course, there might have been another factor, that is, since they would see Zhou Wang again in a few days, none would act so insensibly.

With Su Yajing, Yu Duo, and Shen Yutong not attending, there weren’t many left.

Furthermore, there was the senior.

But the senior wasn’t demanding either; her first personal concert was also coming up soon. Zhou Wang used the excuse that she was likely busy to dissuade her from making the trip.

The senior wouldn’t dig deeper; she would unconditionally agree with Zhou Wang’s arrangent, so dealing with her was quite easy, allowing Zhou Wang to breathe a sigh of relief.

Moreover, soone like Qi Jiayi, although having had a substantial relationship, was still in an ambiguous emotional stage, so there wasn’t much concern... After all, she had been avoiding him lately.

Once these individuals were ruled out, only a few unstable factors remained.

Among them, two were particularly special.

It was precisely at this ti, on the way to the airport, that Zhou Wang was about to face them... Ding Yi and Xia Xiwei.

If you rewind to a month ago, Zhou Wang confronting them would absolutely be justified, with no reason to feel guilty, since they weren’t really dating.
