In a remote area of Baoshan District in the Magic City, on the verge of falling asleep on the bus, Yu Duo got off, clutching her backpack, and dragged her weary body into a small alley. Yu Duo, initially pretending to be cheerful, was now truly surprised. She also noticed not only Yu Fei but their parents seed in great spirits too.
“What’s the occasion today? It doesn’t seem like anyone’s birthday, yet there’s such a feast?”
Upon hearing Yu Duo’s question, Yu Fei and the parents exchanged a glance, all smiles.
“Not a significant day, but indeed there’s so good news.”
Yu Fei walked over and patted Yu Duo’s head, explaining with a smile, “Dad finally received an invitation from President Qi, and soon he’s going to attend a very important banquet. Many important figures will be there, and President Qi said he’ll do his best to help Dad secure orders… If this works out, our tough days will finally co to an end!”
“Really?”
