Yun Family

"Daughter, you're back at last. How did you do?" Yun Dong smiled when he saw his daughter enter the main hall, but his shock was evident when he saw her.

The elders also greeted her stiffly, except for one who had a scowl, but no one noticed, except Yun ngxin.

Now with her spiritual sense, she could clearly 'see' everything around her. She could see that her father was in the Sixth Stage of Chi Gathering, as were the other elders. Only the ancestor was in the Seventh Stage of Chi Gathering.

She was confident she wouldn't lose if she fought them all.

'This is so amazing...' Yun ngxin smiled inwardly as she rembered Ling Tian, but her expression on the outside was still cold and calm.

"I am fine, father. I ca to let you know that I'm back." Yun ngxin nodded slightly.

"Well..." Yun Dong was stunned to see his daughter, she seed different since she left. Now she seed more beautiful, more radiant, even her skin seed brighter and more glowing, as if she had been totally rejuvenated even more. Her body was more voluptuous and more defined, free of impurities and imperfections, as if she were the most beautiful woman they had ever seen in their lives.

Yun Dong was confused, and not only he but also the other elders. Even the servants who were there at the request of the elders and the patriarch were stunned too.

What happened to the young miss? Everyone couldn't help but wonder. Even her present coldness and indifference was on another level than before. It is as if at any mont, a cold and horrible winter could break out.

Yun Yin erged from his daze and quickly said sothing to his servant in secret without anyone noticing. The servant stepped out with the others when they were asked to leave.

Yun ngxin listened to what Yun Yin had said to his servant. She didn't care and only mocked inside.

"Granddaughter... what happened to you? You look more beautiful and radiant, and not only that, I also feel you are different." Yun Song, Yun ngxin's grandfather and current ancestor of the Yun family. He was the only martial artist of the family in the Emperor rank. He felt that he could not properly feel Yun ngxin, it is as if his spirit that he uses to asure the inner power of others, drowned in a huge sea when he tried to feel the inner strength of his granddaughter. Vaguely, he felt a slight pressure coming from her, so it beca strange to him.

Yun Dong nodded slightly in agreent, waiting for his daughter to respond. Why did she convey a very different feeling to them than before?

Yun ngxin deliberately let a glimr of her strength slip away, so that she conveyed a slight pressure to the ancestor Yun Song.

Ling Tian had trained and instructed her in all matters pertaining to cultivation, so she knew how to hide or let so of her strength out, among many other things.

"My strength has increased considerably, so my body experienced so changes as well." Yun ngxin only said that to avoid explaining the rest. She wouldn't tell everyone about cultivation. Not only was it at Ling Tian's request, but she also knew that there were intruders in her family; she was not naive to give life opportunities to just anyone.

"Father, there's no need to be intimidated by the tyrannical Ming family anymore, I can even fight them all by myself now."

Yun ngxin's voice sounded, preventing them from understanding what she had just said a few monts ago.

Did her strength increase?

How could her body have changed so much in a few days?

What really happened to her?

Fighting the Ming family?

Does she dare to say she could fight them alone?

The elders, the ancestor and even the patriarch, who was Yun ngxin's father, were stunned when they heard what she said.

Why did she say that?

Doesn't she know what she's saying?

Did she suffer any injuries that prevented her from thinking properly?

"D-daughter, why do you say that? I don't really understand what you an." Yun Dong asked quickly, fearing that sothing serious had happened to his daughter.

"Father, I'm really fine, and what I said a few monts ago is true." Yun ngxin denied with her head when she observed the reactions of the people. She knew they would think this was a joke, but now she was strong enough to even defend herself from the Ming family. She was no longer the sa as before, now she could face the fights head on, without worrying about not being strong enough and confident enough.

Yun Dong really didn't believe what he was hearing from his daughter. What she had said was like a bad joke, making no one believe her.

The ancestor, Yun Song, said nothing, but continued to observe his granddaughter's behavior. He, too, found it impossible to believe what Yun ngxin had said, but his spirit urged him to believe her, as if she could really do that on her own. Even he would not dare say such bold words as facing a great family alone. Facing the Ming family on his own... it would be impossible to do that, unless his strength reached a higher level...

"Niece, what you're saying doesn't make sens-"

"I'm not your niece! You're not even part of this family! So you have no right to speak!"

Yun Yin did not finish speaking when he was interrupted by Yun ngxin's cold and displeased voice.

Yun ngxin coldly watched Yun Yin, preventing him from speaking. Yun Yin could not help but feel a chill running down his spine as Yun ngxin's gaze fell upon him.

The others were stunned when they observed the young miss's different behavior. Even her father, Yun Dong, had his eyes open to such behavior from his daughter, what really happened to her to make her behave in such a strange manner?!

Yun ngxin knew that Yun Yin was not really part of the family. He only beca an elder because of his contributions to the family, and he was a friend of her father's since they were young, so this so-called friendship continued over ti, until he beca one of the elders of the Yun family. But in ti, greed and thirst for power, for control, corrupted his mind and he began to plot against the Yun family itself. She had known for so ti that Yun Yin was in favor of the Ming family, so it was not surprising that the Ming family always attacked the weak points of the Yun family, managing to take away properties and resources from the Yun family. But she did not say anything, as it was likely that they would not believe her because of the 'great' contributions that Yun Yin had made. She decided to focus on being stronger so that no one would force her or say anything to her.

"Disrespectful! Where are your manners to respect your seniors?" Yun Zao spoke imdiately, not realizing Yun Yin's reaction at his side. He too was in conspiracy with Yun Yin.

Yun Dong frowned at what Yun Zao said to his daughter. An annoyance began to arise within him as he scolded Yun ngxin.

She was his daugther!

Yun ngxin did not answer, but her ice-cold gaze fell on the two of them, undeterred by the rebuke they gave her. She was also certain that Yun Zao was with Yun Yin. She would take care of these first two, so that the Yun family could reestablish itself without any hidden danger.

The atmosphere in the main hall beca uncomfortable.

Crunch

The door to the main hall opened when a servant entered and bowed his head.

"The young master of the Ming family is here..."
