Several seconds after he left, Ling Tian began to release his spiritual sense into his surroundings.

Many demonic beasts could be found, but their cultivation was barely beyond the Fourth Stage of Chi Gathering. Usually the demon beasts were in groups. There seed to be hundreds of hordes of demon beasts. One could rarely see demon beasts in Stage Seven of Chi Gathering.

'It seems that this continent has a lot of low-level demon beasts.'

'No wonder the City Lord, Long Cheng, was surprised to see easily kill that beast in the Foundation Establishnt stage. Most of the demon beasts are found under the Late Stage of Chi Gathering.'

Ling Tian discovered a demon beast in the Eighth Stage of Chi Gathering. It looked like it was about to ascend to the next stage. Ling Tian sent his immortal sword, killing it with one cut.

Flying swiftly over his sword, Ling Tian went through a large part of the place.

Indeed, he found no other human settlent or city nearby. It seed that Long Cheng was telling the truth, there were no human settlents beyond the mountains, apparently not as far as Ling Tian had traveled.

-Peak Stage of Foundation Establishnt-

Ling Tian felt a little heavier with ti.

'Is it because I haven't had a good rest? But I don't feel sleepy or anything...'

His instincts were slowly alerting him to sothing.

'My little pocket world is gone and I can't rest in the open air, those demon beasts will be bothering and I don't want to have to deal with all of them all the ti, so I think I'll go to that Star City to rest and see what's happening to . Maybe with a good rest I can recover...'

'I think Star City was in this direction.'

Ling Tian quickly managed to locate the address that Long Cheng had told him earlier.

He didn't have 30 minutes to say goodbye to them and he was back. But in those 30 minutes he had covered a large area flying over his flying sword and did not discover any other human settlents.

'Hehe, I think I would get there in less than a few hours flying, even if I walked it would be a little more than a day ... Good thing I'm not in the way of those two, as I'm a little off in that direction, so we wouldn't run into each other on the way back, as I wouldn't want to draw attention to myself when they try to "thank " for saving them. I'm sure it'll be a big headache to have them on top of ...'

Ling Tian was starting to feel more and more that his body was weighing him down and that he was having trouble breathing.

He discovered so plains nearby and decided to go down there.

Once he was close, he released his spiritual sense and saw that there were one or two demon beasts nearby, so he quickly killed them. He sat down in a cultivation position and released his spiritual sense to scan his body.

He found no abnormalities that told him that his body was poisoned, that he suffered from a disease or had a hidden danger due to a past injury.

Suddenly, the sky began to darken and the clouds swirled over him. Thunder began to be heard little by little and lightning illuminated the clouds.

Ling Tian realized that his cultivation stopped recovering and stopped at the Peak Stage of Foundation Establishnt.

What is happening?!

Ling Tian directed his spiritual sense towards his Dantian.

His immortal essence, which was previously sealed by the Heavenly Laws, was being sealed again.

Shit...

Ling Tian tried to unlock the seal that contained his immortal strength again but could not. It seed that the seal was getting stronger.

Ling Tian sensed sothing different and turned his gaze to the sky.

There was a vision of heaven and earth. This only happened when soone was promoting entering the next major realm! What's going on!? Why is this happening...?

Suddenly, his face turned pale.

A giant lightning bolt the size of two adult bodies together fell from the skies and was heading towards him.

Why is there a divine damnation?!

Oh, shit!

BOOM

"Argh!"

The lightning struck hard and exploded in Ling Tian's body.

But, because he had cultivated a technique of body refinent, the lightning only slightly hurt him.

Ling Tian sohow felt the Heavenly Dao.

When he wanted to get up and face the Heavenly Dao again, he vaguely felt the Heavenly Dao Laws along with the Laws of Heaven and Earth that bound his body and prevented him from moving.

One could even slightly see ethereal chains that bound his whole body.

BOOM!

Another lightning strike.

Ling Tian spat out so blood. This second beam seed to contain more force, managing to remove his internal organs a little.

Quickly, the amazing vitality of the World Tree in his heart began to heal his wounds within seconds.

It seed that the Heavenly Dao was furious to see that it's divine damnation could not hurt Ling Tian much.

Huh?!

Because in order to beco a powerful Immortal, Ling Tian had felt the Laws of the Heavenly Dao and had combined with the laws, so clearly at once, he felt the Laws of the Heavenly Dao flowing through his whole body, it seed to penetrate every corner of his cells and muscles. He felt that the resistance of his body beca much weaker, as if he had not cultivated any techniques of body refinent.

Suddenly, Ling Tian felt that the laws were directed at his heart!

He released his spiritual sense. Ling Tian paled when he knew that the Heavenly Dao was also sealing his heart, so that the World Tree could not heal him when he was hurt, thus preventing vitality from leaving his heart.

It seed that the Heavenly Dao knew that it could not hurt Ling Tian, so it had to seal his flesh body along with his heart, so that he could face the divine damnation directly.

Ling Tian looked up at the heavens in fury. He felt that he was being punished by Heavenly Dao itself.

It seed that this was the Wrath of the Heavenly Dao.

Ling Tian could barely move. He was shocked by everything that was happening.

Slowly, his cultivation began to decrease.

-Late Stage of Foundation Establishnt-

Ling Tian paled greatly as he watched a lightning slightly larger than the previous one slowly fall towards him. He did not know if he could survive that. The resistance of his fleshly body had been restricted by the Heavenly Dao, so it was not so different from the body of a normal cultivator starting to cultivate, and more that he could no longer receive the help of the World Tree to quickly heal his wounds.

Even so, Ling Tian decided to face his destiny, raising his head, looking directly at the heavens, as if he were telling to the Dao that he would not give up.

He had to live. He would not give up. He had already faced the Great Dao once, and he survived. So he would do it again. He survived the Samsara Bridge Abyss and the Heavenly Dao, so why wouldn't he do it again?

Ling Tian faced the ray of so-called divine damnation.

BOOM!!!

Rumble!!!

The dust rose around him, while sparks of electricity buzzed around him. The once swirling clouds of heaven dispersed, leaving a bright and clear sky, as if no such terrifying phenonon had ever existed.

A crater was ford by the lightning explosion. In the middle of that, one could find a horribly wounded body that still had its head up in the direction of the sky. His body was full of horrendous wounds that you could even see the white part of the bones. His organs even were burned by the unbelievable force of the lightning.

In his eyes, however, one could see a strong determination, one could even find a hint of contempt.

He with his will power did not let himself be broken by the fury of the Heavenly Dao. He truly survived that deadly attack, though he must confess that he ca close to falling. The Heavenly Might is not a simple thing. This is the Heavenly Law: The Heavenly Dao!

Ling Tian felt his strength failing, so he could not help but close his eyes heavily. His consciousness slowly plunged into darkness, becoming completely unconscious.

Ling Tian's body almost a step from death fell and lay on the ground.

Vaguely, one could feel a very light and weak vitality coming out of his chest and slowly spreading throughout his body, healing the horrific wounds.
