Su Wan led the charge in expressing excitent about Carter’s arrival.

Stephen Curry was over the moon, facing the cara he said, "It feels like I’m dreaming, this has been my dream since I was a kid, and I never thought it would co true! I can’t wait to play alongside Uncle Carter!"

That day ca quickly, on February 3rd, Carter passed the team’s physical examination and was given playing ti.

In his first ga, he played a total of 21 minutes and 23 seconds, and he perford quite well, making 5 of 8 shots, 3 of 5 three-point shots, and 2 of 2 free throws, racking up 15 points for the ga.

Bench scoring had always been a weak spot for the New York Knicks.

Before Vince Carter’s arrival, the highest bench scorer for the New York Knicks averaged only 8.4 points per ga, that being Paul George.

Now, suddenly, there was a bench player stepping up to score in the double digits, and even Su Wan felt a bit uncomfortable with the transition.

After the ga, reporters interviewed Vince Carter, asking him the reason for his great performance that night, to which Vince Carter said, "It’s pretty normal..."

He seed to recall sothing upsetting, paused for a mont, and continued, "Su Wan drew a lot of the defense, with that kind of open space, nobody would miss..."

That was what irked him:

Opponents, when faced with him and Su Wan’s open shots, would always leave him open to double-team Su Wan.

It wasn’t just once or twice, but three tis...

Artest heard what he said and got angry right away:

Hey, not cool!

Who are you calling ’nobody’?

Su Wan kicked him straight away.

What an embarrassnt.

Vince Carter continued the interview, and the reporter asked him to comnt on this year’s "Dunk Contest" lineup, with a question, "Vince, do you think this year’s Dunk Contest can surpass the one from the year 2000?"

The reporter hit a keyword, and Carter’s tone beca much more proud, "The 2000 Dunk Contest is one of the classics in NBA history, and I don’t think it’s sothing that can be easily surpassed."

Seeing Carter’s frankness, a burst of inspiration suddenly struck Su Wan:

What if they created a show on ESPN featuring Vince Carter specifically to critique players’ dunks? That would probably be quite effective, right?

He wasn’t one to hesitate, when he decided to do sothing, he did it.

Mainly...

This year, there’s LeBron!

It would be too boring to just watch this fun unfold from the sidelines.

Moreover, as the person who facilitated this fun, it was completely fine for Su Wan to exchange this edition of the "Dunk Contest" for so money.

After Vince Carter finished the interview, Su Wan went straight up to invite Vince Carter.

Carter had only one question: "I don’t rember there being a show like this, right?"

Su Wan said, "As long as you agree, there will be one this year!"

What else was there for Carter to say? He agreed instantly.

When ESPN found out that Su Wan was going to make another show, they imdiately established a special task force just to coordinate with Su Wan.

Co on, the "Ticket King" who drew in 5 million, even doing a fan-oriented show was enough for ESPN to make a killing. And after hearing Su Wan’s idea, they knew very well this show would be a hit in both discussion and viewership.

ESPN had broadcasting rights, so spinning it off to a secondary route was no problem at all.

What they needed to do now was to get a temporary studio setup near the Staples Center and then proceed with getting sponsors.

"Su Wan’s Predictions" was already a very successful segnt.

This gave Su Wan a good reputation among investors.

Adding the All-Star effect, ESPN quickly pulled in 30 million in sponsorships.

Since the show was solely Su Wan’s creation, he took 50% of the advertising split.

That ans, out of the 30 million sponsorship, 15 million belonged to him.

Additionally, ESPN had to pay him a performance fee of 3 million, as well as 1.5 million for Vince Carter’s performance fee.

Of course, relative to the money they were making, such performance fees were nothing.

Carter was taken aback when he got the money: "Hold on, isn’t this program just for one episode?"

Su Wan replied, "Yes!"

"One episode, and a performance fee of 1.5 million?"

That was almost what top-line stars made.

Su Wan said, "This is New York, and we’re partnering with ESPN, it has to be this price!"

Vince Carter surely broadened his horizons.

Soon after, ESPN moved into the promotional phase, and quickly, the show sparked huge interest. ESPN’s promotional slogan was: "Even if you don’t understand basketball or dunks, you can still follow this show, featuring the most humorous comntary and the most professional critiques!"

This was precisely what David Stern wanted to hear.

He imdiately requested the official channel to also promote this show.

With the support of official dia channels, ESPN was astounded.

Su Wan hadn’t lied...

Hmm...

That promotional slogan was exactly what Su Wan had in mind.

He was targeting David Stern directly.

No other promotion would compare to linking directly with the official channels.

Now there was no need to worry about the popularity of this show.

LeBron Jas also saw the advertisent for the show, and if he wasn’t so reluctant to part with it, he might have nearly smashed his phone.

Damn...

Su Wan!

Can’t you have a little sha?

Pushing into the "Dunk Contest" and then making money off , huh?

Even though LeBron was quite self-confident, he knew that given Su Wan’s nature, there was no chance of hearing any praise for himself.

Damn it all!

LeBron suddenly felt like a "gorilla" in a circus, not only having to perform for the fans but also being critiqued by Su Wan, "This move isn’t good; that move doesn’t work!"
