But once he had no choice but to play seriously, he found that he didn’t hate the feeling.
Instead...
There was a longing.
When Randolph was very young, he was so poor that he didn’t have pants to wear; eventually, he chose to take a risk, opting for "zero cost shopping." Due to his lack of experience, he ended up in juvenile detention.
As he left the store, he was still tightly gripping the pants he had longed for.
At this mont, his longing inside was no less than his previous yearning for new pants.
However, he did not share this feeling with Su Wan.
He felt it was too embarrassing.
Predictably, the Pacers "upset" the first ga of the series.
But a lot of the dia, after watching this ga, said, "Perhaps this is LeBron’s best chance to win a round against Su Wan in the series!"
Just from the first ga, that’s the impression most people had.
The Pacers’ dominance over the Cavaliers was not as strong as in the past.
You could tell from the score difference; in all the past gas, which ga for the Cavaliers ended just 5 points behind at the end of the third quarter.
If the Cavaliers’ fourth quarter had been better, and they had been more specific in restraining Randolph, they might have won this ga.
The key was that the Cavaliers had a chance to try again to achieve this.
The Cleveland dia had never expected that after the first ga, the external expectations for them had actually increased.
The "Open-air grandstand" even said, "LeBron Jas stands once again at a crossroads in his career, and as long as he can leverage his and the Cavaliers’ strengths, he can definitely achieve his first career victory over Su Wan!"
Even though it sounded a bit heartbreaking.
Yet, at the sa ti, the Cleveland dia also felt a burst of motivation.
Since everyone said there was hope,
Then LeBron...
Go for it!
In the second ga of the series, amid everyone’s expectations for the Cavaliers and LeBron,
Mike Brown played a strong ga, using layers of defense against Randolph who had been key in the last quarter of the previous ga, causing him to struggle.
He was just a tough guy who racked up stats on weak teams and had hardly experienced many big gas, let alone this kind of targeted postseason.
In the last ga, his performance acted more like an X-factor.
Now targeted, he imdiately exposed many problems.
These issues weren’t things that could be changed just by joining the Pacers and being influenced by Su Wan for two months; it needed more effort and adjustnt during the sumr.
But Rick Carlisle was not to be underestimated either; he took out the heavy targeting of LeBron again, ensuring that whenever LeBron broke through with the ball, the Pacers would inevitably double-team him.
Both sides finally stood at the platform to determine the victory...
It was between Su Wan and Vince Carter!
In the last regular-season ga between their teams, Su Wan exploded against Vince Carter.
This ga was the sa, with Su Wan ultimately scoring 38 points, overshadowing Carter’s 21 points, and the Pacers also won by 16 points.
Under Rick Carlisle’s heavy lockdown, LeBron managed just 5 out of 15 shots, tallying up 7 turnovers!
If we’re talking about poor performance, his was more outrageous than Carter’s.
However, after this ga ended, the Cleveland dia continued to focus their critical "fire" on Carter, blaming him for not containing Su Wan, which is why the Cavaliers lost.
He was the "chief culprit" of this ga!
The "Cleveland Plain Dealer" even directly stated: "Acquiring Vince Carter was the worst transaction made by Danny Ferri!"
Then all the Cleveland dia adjusted their attitudes, constantly consoling themselves, the fans, and also LeBron Jas:
"There’s still a chance! There’s still a chance! We still have a chance!"
It’s uncertain whether their chanting really had an effect, but in the third ga of the series at Conseco Arena, both Zach Randolph and Foster encountered foul troubles.
This allowed LeBron to fly freely on the court like an unbound bird, showcasing his talent without doubt.
Also, the Pacers’ shooters were underperforming tonight; by the end of the third quarter, the leading team was the Cavaliers.
They led 78 to 72 by 6 points.
LeBron Jas’s face was full of determination.
Today, just today!
He was set to achieve his first victory against Su Wan today!
He was so excited, and the Clevelanders a thousand miles away were even more so.
At this mont, Vince Carter suddenly turned his head towards Su Wan, grinned strangely, and then said,
"Man, are you a bit too weak? Can’t even take down LeBron?"
This was the first ti he had spoken to Su Wan in the entire series.
