As Barkley’s predictions on Facebook had been repeatedly contradicted by reality, many fans witnessed his "curse" firsthand. Seeing him prematurely congratulate the Pacers on defeating the Mavericks sent alarm bells ringing through the heads of the entire Pacers’ fanbase.
