Chapter 20: Bump into
In early April, He Yan picked a suite in the Yuzhong District. It was a little expensive, but it was in a good location. She had waited for more than half a month before she decided to buy it. Mother He only nodded her head and didn’t ask anymore.
He Yu was conflicted as to when she should bring Ye Xun over. At first, she had considered waiting until she graduated but then didn’t want to interfere with her studying for graduate school, and since she wasn’t working yet, she thought her mother would complain that Ye Xun was a bum as well. However, in the long run, no matter what happens, nothing could guarantee that Mother He wouldn’t have sothing to complain about.
She wondered if she should bring Ye Xun over for New Year’s.
She would ask Ye Xun first, and if she agreed, then that was the plan they would go with.
But an “accident” occurred—

Mother He studied her carefully and saw that she was holding a garbage bag in her hand, and her expression eased slightly.
