(Ryoto's pov)
I slowly walked up to the big present box and saw a pink-haired girl who practically jumped out of the box as soon as it was opened.
The girl started looking around curiously.
Lala: "Where am I?"
It was Lala, and she looked younger than I last saw her, but it was undoubtedly her.
I couldn't believe it. It was her, but I needed to be sure that I wasn't dreaming.
Ryoto: "Lala?"
My voice got her attention, and she focused on for the first ti.
Lala: "Ryoto?"
That confirms it, and the only thing in my mind was to hug her, which was what I did. Lala returned my surprise hug.
Ryoto: "I missed you."
My voice was soft. I don't think I used voice this soft before in my life, but it just showed how much she ant to .
Lala seed surprised by my words but didn't ask or say anything and just squeezed a bit harder, showing her affection.
We stayed one this for a while until I was comfortable separating. I missed her warmth.
Lala: "Ryoto, why are you looking younger?"

Sophia: "I'll be the one to explain that."
Sophia butted in.
Sophia then explained where we are and what we are doing here.
Sophia: "In summary, we are in another universe, and you as well as Ryoto are aged down a bit. The ti in your howorld is stopped, so you can think of it as a long vacation with Ryoto without worrying anyone."
Lala was listening to Sophia with stars in her eyes. She probably is excited about the possibility of another universe.
Sophia: "Unfortunately, I could only get you in here, so besides your D-dial and 'Almighty tool,' your other inventions stayed ho, including Peke. I also de-aged your body slightly, but there shouldn't be a big difference from before."
Lala: "So that's why Ryoto looks younger."

She said it so gently and quietly, so I almost couldn't hear it, but the emotions in that phrase were so powerful that they pierced right through . Karen made this birthday the happiest I've ever experienced. I didn't know what to say, so I said the only thing that ca to my mind.
'Thank you, Karen.'
I was woken up from my thoughts by Lala, who was hugging like a koala.
Lala: "Sophia-nee told that you already experienced three months alone, so om not leaving you until you don't feel alone anymore!"
I'm not complaining, but...
Ryoto: "Sophia-nee?"
Lala: "Yes, she said she was like your older sister, so she is Sophia-nee."
Ryoto: "She will be happy about it."
Now that everything was out of the way, I was slowly moving to my bedroom, but I wasn't planning to sleep or let Lala sleep, for that matter, and that was the best night since I got here.

I didn't sleep but felt better than ever. Lala wasn't tired enough to sleep just yet, but I needed to go to school, so I got up from bed, but Lala went into koala mode and stayed like that. She looked at as if saying that she won't leave today either.
It looks like I'll go to school like that, but before that, I needed to tell you sothing, Lala.
Ryoto: "Lala, can you get off for a mont? I need to tell you sothing."
Instead of letting go, she squeezed harder. I chuckled at her antics.
Ryoto: "Don't worry, I don't plan on running away without you."
She looked straight in the eyes. I didn't even notice, but I had my eyes open the entire ti. Before she arrived yesterday, I had my eyes closed most of the ti, even at ho, but maybe it's true that your ho is where your heart is. She makes comfortable just with her presence.
Lala reluctantly climbed down.
Ryoto: "I just wanted to warn you about sothing first.

I probably should tell you that earlier, but I couldn't find a good ti to do that, but sohow, my blood beca really dangerous, so you need to be careful about it so no biting too hard during our sessions."
To prove to her that, I took a knife and sliced it as little as possible but as soon as the knife went below the skin, a part of it evaporated or lted. Hard to tell, but the thing is, the part of the knife that touched my blood disappeared.
The blood, however, didn't harm in any way. My skin didn't burn or anything. It didn't even hurt. Good to know that I don't need to worry about harming myself, at least.
Lala looked the whole ti curiously but flinched when I cut myself. However, she trusted and waited for what I wanted to show her.
She was curious about my blood when she saw what happened to the knife, but she hadn't had her tools at the mont, and to be honest, I was a bit scared of letting her study my blood. I don't even think there is a container durable enough to hold my blood for an extended amount of ti.
I tried to answer all of Lala's questions to the best of my abilities until she was satisfied.
After that, I was ready to go to school, and Lala seeing this rembered what she was doing and attached herself to . Surprisingly she was easy to carry her around as she held into . It could be thanks to my strength, but who cares.
I exited my apartnt, knowing that today would be a chaotic and exciting day.
