The first rays of sunlight filtered through the window, gently nudging the dormitory awake. Zane yawned and stretched, then reached for his bag—but stopped abruptly.

"Wait... I have a storage space?" he muttered, confused.

Nyx's voice echoed inside his head, dripping with mock sympathy, "Oh right, the storage space! That tiny feature I forgot to remind you about. You're welco."

Zane rolled his eyes. "Thanks a lot, Nyx. You could've given a heads-up before I struggled with this."

He summoned the shimring portal and tossed his luggage inside with a victorious flick of his wrist.

Sera, fresh and ready, glanced over with that all-too-familiar look — the one that clearly said, You know what to do.

Zane groaned dramatically. "Really? Again with the bags? I'm not your personal Sherpa."

Sera just smiled sweetly. "But you do have the perfect muscles for it."

Before he could protest, Zane found himself hauling her bags like a seasoned pack mule.

Nyx chuckled softly. "Well done, Zane. You've officially earned the title 'Human Backpack.' Don't forget to stretch."

Zane muttered, "Perfect. Just what I always wanted."

The morning was bright and full of energy, filled only with the usual friendly teasing — and absolutely no trace of bad dreams or ominous feelings. Just another day at the academy.
