It was a straight-up insult to Jake; his face twisted in ways inhumanly possible for it to. The most annoying part was that Abrielle said it with a straight non-repentant gaze. She didn’t regret her words and had no plans for taking them back.

He was beyond enraged. The entire cellar was quiet. Everyone was left speechless at how brazen the princess was. She wasn’t shy to judge Jake’s business. Camilla’s eyes almost rolled off too. "Keep dreaming for your so-called husband because he will never see him again." Jake spat, then quickly pulled his priced possession into his trousers.

Abrielle scoffed at him, Did she say she wanted to see Cedric again? They were better apart. Her life was hell because she was associated with Cedric. The original villainess beca the villainess who died pathetically at the hands of the man she adored because she loved Cedric a little bit too much for her own good, and she could not let go.

Love is only nice when both sides are sure of their feelings. The best feeling is when you love soone and they love you back. How sweet it sounds. It seed so easy but was extrely hard to find. Abrielle was deep in her cell so Jake could not reach her and could only scoff.

He had an angry scowl on his face as he turned the trolley away after demanding they return all the soup bowls. He stopped by Camilla’s cell, which was close to the exit.

The gates creaked and made cranking sounds as he unlocked it. His eyes fell on Camilla, who was seated on the floor, with a smirk on her face. "So you rembered after being turned down." She sneered. She had a cool deanour but she wasn’t so coldaw inside.

She hated this jerk, but knowing that she truly ant nothing to him and was just a ans to pass ti truly hurt, yet she kept a straight face. What was so special about Abrielle? she wondered. Camilla wasn’t ugly at all. None of the girls here were ugly, as Death’s Bite had strict criteria about looks, but among them, she stood out.

She always stood out. Before her life turned upside down 4 or 5 months ago her mory was hazy, she had a simple life. Although it wasn’t perfect, it was better than this. Camilla was a year older than Abrielle at 21 and would be turning 22 this year

She grew up in a simple town off the coast of Moonstone Harbour. They were artisans who specialised in making pottery, among other wood works. She grew up in a family, with 3 sisters and a brother who was to inherit their family shop

Life was simple, Camilla was the youngest of 5 children and the most stunning. They said she took her looks from her late grandmother. Because of her looks, her parents didn’t bother teaching her the family trade but focused on grooming her to be the perfect wife for a noble or a rich rchant.

She was the prettiest in town, even when all her sisters got married out to n who could care for them and the children their parents had hope in Camilla and eventually their wishes ca through..she didn’t get a noble but married into one of the biggest rchant families at the age of 17, 4 years ago

On the surface, her marriage was perfect; her wealthy husband supported her family and even helped the family skill to recognise more, but sothing was off. Two years had passed, and the trophy wife hadn’t conceived even once.

Camilla wasn’t fertile. That’s when things started going downhill. They visited midwives, magic physicians and even witches, but nothing. Camilla didn’t give up, she knew a child was her biggest assurance for keeping her marriage

She pushed her husband to keep trying. He seed to still love her, so they continued searching for answers until they night they went to the temple, and the priest perford a divination. Camilla wasn’t blessed by the goddess to have a child. She could never bear one. She was just 19 then.

At first, after the breaking news, things were okay between her and her husband, but she was hurting inside each day until he started staying too long on trips. Even when he was at ho, he ca back late every day, claiming the job was hectic.

Camilla didn’t want to jump to conclusions; she had co to love her husband. He was her everything, but despite the wealth and all, she felt suffocated until the day Richard ca ho with Caroline, who was heavily pregnant.

Her life crumbled that day; she felt like she had lost it all. His long trips and absent days were because he had kept his mistress outside. Richard brought in another woman he promised to marry once the child was born.

Camilla understood her husband needed heirs to manage the business once they were old so she welcod him with a stiff smile. "There was no need to hide her, Richy; having a second wife isn’t a cri." She welcod Caroline with wide arms because she loved her husband.

She felt Richards’s guilt; and society pushed him. She rembered when his mother whispered about him taking in a new wife..so it happened. Caroline’s pregnancy was tasking but Camilla helped with a free heart not caring about the rumours she promised to love them as one big family

There were no issues and this pleased Richard. He tried on multiple occasions to explain Caroline was just there for the children and he still loved her. Those words were comforting to know. The day arrived, and Caroline gave birth to twin boys with an unmistakable resemblance to Richard.

She was truly barren, it broke her but she accepted it and decided she was going to love the boys like her own. Richard kept his promise and married Caroline. After the marriage things started to change. Caroline changed, having gotten an official status, and that’s when Camilla’s life started to go downstairs.

Caroline started fighting for more love and attention, but Camilla was okay with it. She spread rumours about Camilla and played little sches, making her seem like the envious one; Camilla was still okay with it. Richard always told her to ignore Caroline’s whims and would cuddle her while she cried.

But she could not take it anymore when Caroline slapped her and took one of the boys from her arm on their first birthday calling her cursed.
