The currency system is really simple here.
100 bronze coins equal 1 silver coin, and 100 silver coins equal 1 gold coin.
There is one other type of coin I found within that pouch too.
It was engraved with the sigil of House Valen, which signify a mber of the House Valen is the owner of that coin.
Even if I am excommunicated from the House, this sigil alone would let get through trade routes, and restricted areas, so it would be wise to keep it, for now.
