Emilia finally breathed a sigh of relief as she took the USB drive from the gray haired girl. "Thank you, Noelle."
Noelle nodded curtly. "Please don't hesitate to call directly whenever you need anything, young miss. You don't need to go through that idi—ahem, Miss Samantha."
Emilia's lips twitched slightly, wondering if all of Sam's subordinates were that daring, or Noelle was an exception. Regardless, she was competent and hard working enough to deserve having such arrogance. "You can go back to rest first. We can discuss your reward later."
Noelle blinked. "Reward? Young miss, there's no need for such a thing, this is part of my—"
Emilia smiled. "Of course, but since you went the extra mile for , am I not allowed to show so appreciation?"
Just a glance at her deep dark circles was enough for Emilia to know how hard Noelle had worked to get all of this done so quickly.
After all, the 'Green Leaf' hospital didn't belong to the White Deer family alone. They only had a thirty percent stake, which allowed them to make so moves, but did not give them complete autonomy in the place.
To get the surveillance tapes wasn't difficult, but Amos or soone else had already had them wiped.
Thankfully, whoever deleted the surveillance either didn't know or didn't think it was necessary to overwrite the data to make it difficult, if not impossible, to recover.
After getting her hands on the storage, Noelle had to get the data recovered as efficiently as possible, processing it in parallel with several of White Deer's technical branches to hasten the process.
Unfortunately, although they hadn't intentionally overwritten the files, the surveillance caras were still continuously running. Which ant that so of it did get corrupted.
This was what made the task a nightmare, and kept Noelle up all night as she tried her best to get it all back together, looking as if it had never been tampered with.
Emilia had already inford her that the footage may face very harsh scrutiny, and there was no room for error. If there was the slightest doubt that it may be 'doctored', it would render their whole plan moot.
If Noelle had worked only as much as her payroll required, there was no way it would have gotten done within a day.
No matter how tyrannical Emilia wanted to be, or how she begged her 'daddy', she would never be able to force it like that either. Perhaps only if she had been a real monarch here would she have that kind of power.
Noelle obviously had to call in a lot of favors, and make unreasonable demands from others, taking it all on personally.
Emilia greatly appreciated these kinds of subordinates, and she was even a little jealous of Samantha. 'Why is it always the others who get these kinds of people?'
"Don't you have that knight, though?"
'Um, true, I guess.'
"Fufu… As expected of my villainess, so greedy."
Emilia rolled her eyes internally as she dismissed Noelle's attempts at denying the 'rewards'. "Think of it as part of your job, then. I'll ssage you before Friday evening, so don't make any plans around that ti, alright?"
The gray haired lady could only helplessly shrug. 'Goddang, both of these sisters are so bull headed! Who wants to work overti? And your reward for working overti is to make work even more overti? Hello?'
She could already guess Emilia's reward was so fancy dinner in an absurdly expensive restaurant. Noelle only thought of such a thing as a chore, not a 'reward'.
If soone really wants to reward her, they should bump up her paycheck!

Thankfully, Emilia didn't know of Noelle's 'rebellious' thoughts, or her rewards might have turned to punishnts.
At this mont, however, she was grinning happily as she ssaged Dixie to inform her to keep the plans in motion, happily swinging her feet up and down as she lay face down on her fluffy bed.
Cynthia couldn't help but be slightly doubtful. The surveillance video only proved that Amos had t with Don and Braxy. There was little that it could accomplish on its own. She didn't know why her villainess seed to focus on it so much. "Do you think this will be enough?"
Emilia smirked. "Fufu… just wait and watch, I have my ways."
Seeing how gleeful her partner looked, Cynthia decided that perhaps it would be more interesting to not pry and see how she gets things done instead.
Emilia buried her face in the pillow after putting the phone aside, letting out a sigh of relief. It was as if a great weight had been lifted off her shoulders. "I really feel like squeezing soone tight, ahh, why is Sam not ho? I should have done it with Noelle earlier…"
Cynthia rolled her eyes. "Sohow, I don't think she would appreciate it very much. Not everyone is like your siscon sister, you know."
Emilia snorted. "Hmph. I'll show you! Next Friday, if I don't have her dancing to my whims, I'll let you off for ten transgressions in the future! But if I do manage to do it, you have to let kiss you, properly! Do you dare to bet?"
Cynthia made a very annoying 'Hohoho' sound that grated on Emilia's nerves. "Ugh, as expected of my villainess, your thought process is always suitably disgusting."
Emilia's eyebrow twitched as she tried her best to keep her smile. "Well, are you chickening out?"
Cynthia snorted in disdain. "Who's a chicken?! Of course I dare to bet! Not only are you going to lose, I'm even going to tease you all the ti from then, and you can't do anything about it either! Ten transgressions? Fufufu… I didn't know my villainess was such a masochist! How disgraceful~"
Emilia smiled coldly. 'We'll see who has the last laugh, you brat of a system… If I don't smooch that smug look right off your face, I'll change my fucking na!'
