After defeating the Wither Skeleton soldiers that had been summoned, I sent a private ssage to Anna.
Anna appeared, looking hesitant.
“I was watching Sora’s stream… And when I heard that you were going to fight the Wither, I wanted to watch live… so I used an invisibility potion.”
“The aggro switched to you, then.”
“…It seems so.”
The Wither automatically targets any living creature.
And “living creatures” don’t just an players. In Minecraft, animals like sheep, cows, and pigs roam freely and can be dosticated.
“Do you rember which direction it flew off in?”
“I kind of rember… I think it went that way.”
“That’s the opposite direction of the 6th gen base. Do you know why Sora and Chell died?”
“Not really…”
She seed unsure about that.
As unfortunate as Sora and Chell’s deaths were, Minecraft is a ga where death is sowhat inevitable.
Even if you lose sothing permanently, all items can be regained with ti and effort.
So, the bigger issue wasn’t their deaths but the Wither wreaking havoc indiscriminately.

At so point, Anna had taken on the role of leading the way and muttered.

As I ntioned, the Wither targets all living creatures on sight.
And any civilized area is bound to have livestock like sheep and cows.

Chell glanced at the gallery posts as Sora’s voice drifted toward her. She figured Sora must have finally caught up by now.
Chell didn’t bother turning to look. Sora, too, stood next to her without expecting much of a reaction.
“Wow…”
Sora was the first to let out an exclamation.
In front of them lay the ruined city. Buildings and roads had been smashed, and debris was scattered everywhere.
But what caught the eye more than that was the three-headed skeleton monster flying in the sky—along with a black-haired girl soaring through the air.
On her back was a pair of wings Sora had never seen before. In one hand, she held a sword glowing with a purple hue, and in the other, a handful of fireworks.
“That’s Laura, right?”
“Yes.”
“What’s up with those wings? And that sword’s different from the one I gave her.”

Chell didn’t bother answering. She figured the viewers would explain, so there was no need for her, soone who wasn’t great with words, to chi in. And indeed, Sora didn’t expect an answer from Chell either.
The wings were one of Minecraft’s endga items.
People only fought the Ender Dragon to unlock the End map, and the main reason people ventured into the End was to obtain these wings.
The purple-glowing sword was a top-tier weapon, coated with “Netherite,” a material only obtainable from the Nether.
‘Her senpai must’ve given it to her.’
There was no way Laura could have acquired those items in such a short ti. It was natural to assu a senior had given them to her.
That said, it didn’t diminish Laura’s prowess.

Laura, who had been running on the ground, jumped. She tid her use of fireworks perfectly.
Laura shot into the air, and at the peak of her ascent, she swung her sword at the Wither hovering high above.
The Wither’s HP dropped significantly, likely due to the sword’s Holy Damage attribute.
Despite being a hidden boss, the Wither was being thoroughly dominated.
The Wither’s strength was in its range—or more precisely, its altitude.
The Wither flew far above the reach of most players and rained down projectile attacks from a distance. That’s what made it a difficult boss.
But Laura bridged that gap with an “unconventional” thod.
Normally, players would trap the Wither in an underground space to limit its altitude, but Laura had no need for such a tactic—she simply flew up to it.
The fireworks set provided a burst of propulsion, so by the ti the fireworks exploded, Laura was already slicing into the Wither.
No matter how high the Wither tried to fly to escape, it was pointless. The propulsion from the fireworks was far faster.
‘Impressive.’
Even soone like Chell, with her average gaming skills, couldn’t help but be impressed.
Laura soared through the air several more tis, and the Wither took a few more hits from her sword.
Eventually, the Wither’s body cracked and

It crumbled into dust.
At so point, the Wither’s HP had reached zero.
As proof, a Nether Star fell to the ground where the Wither had been.
This item was used to craft the Beacon.
‘My eyes have been blessed today. I feel healthier than usual.’
Having witnessed Laura’s impressive performance, Chell thought to herself.
