Chapter 138: ditation

Angelica delicately spread out the thin skirt of her elegant light-pink dress and gracefully settled herself on the soft grass, joining Roksolana. Roksolana, adorned in her ticulously tailored black silk pants, had her legs crossed, with her palms resting serenely on her knees.

From the mont of their first dinner together, the foreign princess had exhibited an unexpected fondness for Angelica. Initially, the princess of Rische had found this inclination sowhat peculiar. However, as the sands of ti drifted by, she, too, began to sense an inexplicable affinity drawing her closer to Roksolana. It was as though an intangible bond had woven itself between them, an unignorable connection that continued to deepen with each passing day.

And on this invigorating spring day, Angelica finally consented to receive a ditation lesson from the Izaarian princess.

"Please, Your Highness, ensure your posture is properly aligned. In the ditative state, maintaining an open core is vital, allowing the flow of your inner spiritual power to move effortlessly."

Gently, Roksolana glided her hand along Angelica’s back, aiding her in achieving the ideal posture. She offered a warm smile, her almond-shaped eyes shutting gently as she tilted her head to the right. Angelica, sowhat surprised by this guidance, raised her eyebrows and parted her lips, poised to pose a question.

"Spiritual power?"

In Rische, the re ntion of the term "spiritual" was a rarity, let alone when coupled with "power." Consequently, the princess found herself sowhat bewildered by the notion that her own body could harbor such a concept.

Roksolana straightened her own posture and closed her eyes once again, facing the beautiful view of the garden in front of them as she continued,

"In the Imperial family of Izaar, each mber possesses unique innate gifts. Rostan and I, for instance, possess the ability to discern extraordinary talents within individuals..."

She deliberately paused and, with one eye discreetly open, hoped to discern Angelica’s reaction. However, the princess remained composed with an air of artful nonchalance. Roksolana felt a mixture of slight disappointnt and relief, which prompted a wide, genuine smile to curve her lips.

"Regardless of the nature of one’s abilities, it is our solemn duty to assist them in achieving harmony, enabling them to wield these powers to everyone’s advantage."

Suddenly, a jolt coursed through Angelica as the weight of Roksolana’s words finally sank in. Could it be that the princess had perceived her Holy Power? And if so, was she willing to safeguard this secret from prying eyes? Would she extend her support to help Angelica harness it?

Angelica herself remained uncertain about how to manage her powers, beyond the art of concealing them. Yet, if there truly existed soone capable of offering guidance, she found no compelling reason to object.

With this in mind, Angelica chose to place her trust in her own instincts and the enigmatic deanor of the Izaarian Princess. She allowed her body to relax once more and, with a nod, finally responded,

"Your Highness... Can your abilities genuinely assist in anchoring one’s innate powers within their body? Is it a laborious procedure?"

Roksolana could not help but chuckle at the sowhat peculiar yet endearing question.

"Not in the least, Your Highness! Should you choose to accept my guidance, I can guarantee your body will swiftly align with your soul!"

Rosalie observed with a warm heart as the two princesses gracefully settled side by side on the ground, deeply engrossed in their ditation.

It brought her imnse joy to witness Angelica’s serene composure, particularly in light of the regrettable incident during her Birthday Party. What ward her heart even more was the realization that Angelica had forged new friendships—a luxury that had often felt just out of reach for her in the past.

As she watched her cherished friend, a radiant smile graced Rosalie’s face, drawing the curious gaze of onlookers nearby.

"You seem to be quite elated, Your Grace. I never would have imagined that Her Highness Princess Angelica could have such a splendid friend in you."

Rosalie, taken aback by the unexpected arrival of the foreign prince, instinctively placed a hand over her chest to steady her racing heart.

Prince Rostan responded with a mischievous smile reminiscent of the one often seen on his sister’s face. He maintained his serene deanor as he continued,

"I apologize for startling you, My Lady. I could not help but notice your joyful countenance, that’s all."

"Oh, well... That is perfectly fine, Your Highness. I tend to startle easily." Rosalie admitted with a gentle chuckle.

Rostan, maintaining his confident smile, briefly surveyed the pristine pathway leading deeper into the Palace Garden. He then redirected his keen green gaze toward the duchess and proposed,

"Your Grace, would you care to join

for a leisurely stroll? I believe our ti could be better spent than simply standing here and watching them ditate."

Rosalie discerned no flaw in his offer and responded with an affirmative nod.

"Yes, a leisurely walk sounds like a splendid idea."

Initially, the pair strolled in complete silence, allowing the enchanting, tranquil sounds of the blossoming garden to surround them with their soothing symphony. Nevertheless, as the courteous hush gradually transford into a sowhat uneasy atmosphere, it was Rostan who broke the silence.

"Your Grace... Have you had the opportunity to contemplate my proposition?"

Rosalie had anticipated this question would surface sooner or later, yet she still found herself hesitating before providing a response.

On one hand, there was no longer a need for Rosalie to run away and conceal herself. In the absence of Evangelina, she was now the sole individual capable of aiding Damien in combatting the dreaded Ac Fever. However, on the other hand, Rosalie found herself drawn to the prospect of extending her assistance to people beyond the confines of Rische. The allure of delving into the diverse cultures and lifestyles of others held a particular fascination for her, especially given her commitnt to continue residing in this world.

As her role within the story took an unforeseen twist, a sense of ambition welled up within her. She yearned for more than re seclusion and self-preservation. Her desire was to transcend those limits and make a aningful impact.

Rostan quietly observed Lady Ashter’s introspective monts, and while he was inherently patient, he eagerly awaited the girl’s response. And perhaps he knew exactly how he could encourage it.

"I must admit, My Lady, there was one pivotal detail I neglected to ntion earlier. The charitable endeavor we seek to establish will also provide aid to religious refugees."

In response, Rosalie abruptly halted her stride, swiftly pivoting to face him. Her eyes widened in astonishnt as she almost exclaid,

"I beg your pardon?!"
