"All the money from this gala will go to various charities and orphanages in China." Lin Yu Yan smiled at Lily as she answered one of the guest’s questions. "I am glad that you could co."
"Of course," Lily responded with a smile.
Lin Yu Yan gave Lily a friendly smile as she eyed Yang Jing and Yang Sen who was accompanying Lily. Then she shifted her gaze to the woman accompanying Lily. "And who might this be?" This was not Lin Yu Yan and Yang Mi’s first eting. However, Lin Yu Yan could not recognize Yang Mi after Lily made her wear a long gown and so glamorous makeup.
"This is the young miss of the Yang Family." Lily’s eyes beco even more brilliant. This was the first ti that she attended an event in Mainland China and announcing that she is associated with the Yang Family is a very bold move for her.
However, the enemy is lurking and Lily does not have the ti to sit and wait for the enemy to strike again. Lin Yu Yan widened her pretty eyes and looked at Yang Sen who nodded in affirmation to Lily’s statent. She gave Lily a wry smile. Lin Yu Yan turned her attention to Yang Mi and gave her a polite smile. Then she started to talk about other topics. It would be impolite for her to ask any more questions about Yang Mi’s back story so she easily diverted the conversation.
This was a gala with many prominent people, so there are other guests aside from Lily and the Yang Family who approached Lin Yu Yan. Because of this, it was easier for Lily and Yang Mi to move away from Lin Yu Yan that was standing near the entrance.
"President, that is the young master of the Dongfang Family." Yang Mi said in a low voice. "He is with his grandfather. I believe you already t with him at the bidding."
"Hmmm.." Lily nodded as she got herself so champagne from the waiter. However, she only held it in her hand while watching the people talking and interacting in front of her. This was an Oscar-thed gala with a stage that was decorated with rich colors and dim lighting. A red carpet with a VIP- only style entrance added to the feeling of being in the real Oscars award ceremony.
Aside from this, Hollywood morabilia and props were also used to adorn the whole place.
"Didn’t expect to see you here." Lily’s thoughts were interrupted when a man wearing a tuxedo said. Lily turned to face the man and gave her an inquiring gaze. "You don’t rember ?" the man showed a surprise looked. However, it disappeared quickly and was replaced with a confident smirk. "You are joking, yes?"
Lily lifted an eyebrow in response. Of course, she knew who this man is. However, would she say that? "I’m sorry... I think you got the wrong person." She turned her head away.
Qi Xia stared at her speechless. He opened his mouth but imdiately closed it again. How could Lily forget him? How could she?
"Mr. Qi..." Lin Yu Yan approached them with a smile on her face. "I was not expecting that you two know each other."
Qi Xia responded with a smile. He opened his mouth as he was about to answer, however, Lily’s next words rendered him mute.
"We don’t know each other," Lily answered while giving Lin Yu Yan a dashing smile- so dashing it blinded Qi Xia’s eyes. He instantly wondered if Lily was doing this on purpose. Qi Xia rembered when Zhou Huifang invited him to co with him. Qi Xia was originally invited to this party. But he was busy and decided not to co. So when Zhuo Huifang asked him, he instantly declined. Who would have thought that the latter would brought up the topic about Lily coming just to attend this gala?
Lily had been all over Qi Xia’s mind all this ti. In fact, he had asked his people to follow her around, take so pictures and send it to him. He had been thinking of going to Hong Kong and creating so ’accidental’ eting with her. Unfortunately, he was truly busy managing his gaming company, and he was about to launch a new mobile ga online. Because of this, he does not have the ti to at least see her in person.
But when Zhou Huifang ntioned Lily together with the other businessn would attend, he instantly changed his mind.

"Is that so." Lily was smiling, her eyes turning crescents. However, this smile only made Qi Xia shivered inwardly. "He seems like a smart and capable man."
"He is." Lin Yu Yan nodded. "And I believe Mr. Qi is not yet married. I’m sure many won are swooning over him as of this mont. "
"Good. That is very good." Lily said before she gave a questioning look towards Lin Yu Yan. "Aren’t you single as well? Don’t you think it’s high ti that you two start dating? You seed to have high... respects and appreciation for his... talents." Lily said, the sa smile was on her face. This made both Qi Xia and Lin Yu Yan cleared their throats almost at the sa ti.
"You two would look good together too. Aw... why don’t we have a double date? and my husband had been busy in the past few days. It would be nice to get to know the future husband of Jingren’s friend, right?"
