While it ca as no surprise to , Dad, or Xilia that we had been admitted into the Academy, the sa couldn’t be said for Paola and Abuela, who insisted on throwing a big party for us, one which grew even larger in scale when she found Brenden’s na too.
And just like that, our quiet lives began picking up steam; however, when New Year’s Eve rolled around a few days later, sothing happened.
I had been sitting in the upstairs room watching TV when I got a sudden tingling sensation in the back of my head, which caused to bolt to my feet and rush toward the door leading to Gnarina, startling Xilia, Brenden and Emilia, who were deeply invested in the Second Henry Potter movie we had been watching.
"Woah, what the hell…and hes gone…" That was all I heard as I slamd the door to Gnarnia behind and equipped my cloak before activating the stealth skill.
In a flash, I arrived 25 miles away from my house by way of the teleportation array. The mont my feet touched down on solid ground, I was in motion, running at full speed through the winding trees until I reached a large bridge overlooking the rushing rapids of the Saint Johns River.
Standing on the ledge of the bridge, wearing a baby blue maternity gown…was Sadie.
That tingling sensation I had felt earlier was one of the effects afforded by my Psy-Tag skill, as it would only trigger if soone I had tagged were in danger or planning to do sothing life-threatening. It didn’t take any ti at all to understand what was happening.
So, in less than 10 seconds upon arriving in Gnarnia, I had checked our connection, saw flashes of what Sadie could see, estimated the rough location, and teleported there.
’This stupid fucking bitch cracked under the pressure.’ Clicking my tongue, I appeared beside Sadie on the edge of the bridge while looking out over the water and revealing myself.
Of course, soone suddenly manifesting beside her was more than enough to send the girl stumbling into the drink below, but I had anticipated that, and when she flinched, I caught her by the shoulder and rooted the nearly full-term pregnant girl in place.
"Who….Taylor…let go; I can’t do this; I can’t bring a child into the world; my parents are demanding I do it and raise it! I am BARELY 18; how am I supposed to give a good life to my child!" Having an imdiate ntal breakdown upon realizing it was who had appeared, tears poured down Sadie’s face as she pulled with all her might to try and get free from my grasp.
"This is your penance, woman. You wronged in your past life, and now you must pay the consequences. Killing yourself and my unborn child is completely out of the question." With a tone that oozed a seething rage, I glared into Sadie’s eyes and caused her to freeze.
"You are nothing more than a sow, a breeding slave whose sole purpose is to bring one child after another into this world; if I have to lock you away to ensure the safety of my children, I am not above doing so." As I spoke, I scanned through her mind and understood very quickly what was happening.
’Her fractured mind has stitched itself together, creating dual, coexisting personalities who are in communication with each other. Both halves are fully aware of everything that has transpired, making a present and Origin Tiline thought chain.’
In a word, she knew everything: the mories from what she did to back in the Origin Tiline, along with everything that had happened in this tiline, were rged, and sure, there were holes like how was it possible and whatnot, but since I had been careful only to give her the mories of high school from the Origin Tiline, I didn’t have to worry about Arkadia stepping in and assaulting for no reason.
"How can you do this to …." Sadie cried through thick sobs.
"How could you betray and feed to Paul and his gang without remorse? Were we, not friends, were we not close? Heh, you used , so now I am using you. Your body belongs to , and once you pop out that child in your belly, I will fuck you until you don’t rember who you are and put a second one inside of you." I snarled with my lip curled up and eyes glowing Icy Blue in fury.
"You made my life HELL Sadie; you destroyed what little self-confidence I had and took advantage of the fact that I was head over heels for you; what goes around cos around bitch, now GET THE FUCK OFF THIS LEDGE!" Lifting her by the shoulder with ease and ignoring the loud pop that ca from her arm slipping out of the socket or collar bone cracking under the force of my grip, I lightly dropped her onto the ground.
"And don’t think that I am above cutting you open right here and now to remove my child because, guess what?" With a snap of my fingers, we were teleported to Gnarnia, more importantly, into the dical Facility, which was fully ready for a c-section birth to be executed.
"I not only have the ans but the resources to do so, AND keep you alive. TRY AGAIN, SADIE AND YOUR LIFE WILL BECO 50 TIS WORSE; with another snap of my fingers, I triggered the minute amount of particles lurking in Sadie’s body, raising my artwork to the surface of her skin before handing her a mirror and watching horror take over her facial expressions.
"Imagine being forced to go to school looking like a monster while pregnant. If you think you get looks now, just wait. The best part is I can take them all away as swiftly as I make them appear."
SNAP
With a second snap, the scars faded, returning Sadie’s beauty to her again.
Then, without further discussion, I wound up and punched Sadie square in the jaw, knocking her out instantly, and it took every fiber of my patience to stop myself from hitting her a second ti.
I had been pushed too far this ti, and although it had been an expected developnt, I snapped…the only issue is, I’m not sure why.
