You know, if there is one thing I pride myself on apart from my work ethic and intelligence, it’s the fact that I never turned out like one of those nutjobs who constantly checks his Status after every workout or training segnt.
Instead, I had gone to great lengths to understand, and for lack of a better word, Sense, any changes that occurred in my body, so even without staring at the numbers on my System display, the mont I reached the 45-point mark in both of my Physical stats, I knew.
Just like what happened in the Non-Rank, I was suddenly overco with a feeling of being full in certain aspects of my body; that wasn’t all either; I knew without checking that I had hit the bonus points multiple tis during my 110-cycle marathon, a fact which brought a smile to my lips as it ant I wouldn’t need to burn all of my Stat Points on my ta Physical stats.
With a slow, labored exhale, I opened my eyes and controlled my breathing before finally, after almost three weeks, opening my Status, and what I saw there nearly made burst out laughing.
Well, not the entire thing, but three specific lines of text.

{ta Physical Defense: 25.5} 6.5*
I had been EXTRELY LUCKY; not only had I gained an added 4.25 points in my Intellect Stat, but also 8 points in MP Offense and 6.5 in MP Defense.
That was exactly what I was hoping for; without hesitation, I burned the 37.5 stat points to cap both stats out before using another .25 to get an even 42 points on my Intellect Stat, leaving with 14.25 points in reserve, which I imdiately used all but one point off with ten going toward my PC and 3.25 into my INT, transforming my stats.

Sure, the OCD was real, but the fact that I now had 45 points in everything except my PC was mind-boggling. Thinking back to the Origin Tiline, the first stat to get this high was, of course, my Intellect Stat, but by the ti any of the other four reached that mark, I was already in the Gamma Rank, partly because I tried to keep my numbers organized and clean, and partly because I was only earning 1 point per level, as such, When I reached Beta Rank, Non of my other stats had even gotten out of the 20s.
Keep in mind that when entering the beta rank, you’d only have earned 15 points naturally, so unless you were constantly training, it was practically impossible for a basic human to have stats like what I was seeing and feeling.
Yet here I was, at the Peak of High-Alpha Rank…and Stats-wise, I could stand toe to toe with a Gamma or Delta Ranker, excluding particle content, of course, and solely relying on Stats.
That’s also excluding the fact that once I Ranked up to Beta, I’d be earning another 11.25 points…
’Jesus, No one in the sa rank can even stand a chance… 56.25 points in everything…and my PC will be in the triple digits…if anyone else knew about how powerful being 6C was…they would do everything in their power to attain that Classification.’ The thought did pop into my head of potentially coming up against other 6C beings in the near future, but I was quick to shrug it off.
The climb to reaching such heights was far beyond what nearly any person can achieve, and without the proper circumstances and situations, it was practically impossible…or at least that’s what I had dissuaded myself from believing.
Hell, if Brenden could do it, even though I had given him the tools to do so, what’s to say there wasn’t a handful of other 6C returners out there? That thought alone caused to narrow my eyes for a split second before returning to normal.
’Co what may, I will deal with such a thing if it happens; if not, this world is mine for the taking.’
With my circulations complete, all that was left was to wait for Brenden to finish up doing the sa, and then we could rank up, but for the next few days, my attention shifted back to the nurous projects that had been waiting for .
And so my routine changed once again, and instead of heading to the training room with Brenden every day, I would instead go to my workshop.

Eight days after I maxed my stats, an Overly Excited Brenden practically kicked in the door to my workshop.
"TAYLOR, LET’S GO! I FINISHED TI TO RANK UP!"
BANG, ting ting ting tang.
"Fuuuuck,"

"Oops, my hand slipped; I didn’t an to hurl a wrench at your head," walking over to check that my brother was still alive, I felt for his pulse and couldn’t help but chuckle that all it took was a single wrench to the forehead to knock him out…then again I did put enough force behind it to pop a normal persons skull like a waterlon. Still, I only did so because I knew he’d be able to take it.
"Tsk, that’s what you get for startling ," shaking my head, I quickly pulled out a high-grade healing potion, poured so on his face, and then force-fed it to my unconscious little brother.
Within a minute, he was back on his feet, yelling and complaining that I could have killed him.
"Here’s a thought: maybe don’t co barging into my Workshop when I am in my hyperfocus mode; I can’t be blad for reacting in such a manner…that’s all on you any way you’re totally fine." Rolling my eyes, I spun Brenden around and walked him out of my workshop into the Command Center and then toward the Grav Room.
It was finally ti to rank up to beta rank and earn so sweet rewards by finishing the final sub-quest in the second event quest.
