"AHH, WHAT THE FUCK!!" Brenden scread as he felt the slight bit of weight added to his belt.

"TAYLOR!!!" Holding his hands out to the side in a T-pose, Brenden went completely still as if any slight movent would set the particle grenade off.

"Oh, will you quit being such a little bitch? I just told you the damn thing is deactivated so long as it’s in the pouch on your belt, hell even if you got hit by a tank shell, it wouldn’t go off. So long as it’s in that pouch, there is ZERO risk of it blowing up, not to ntion you first need to pour Particles into it, then hit the button." Rolling my eyes at how dramatic my brother was acting, I tossed out a few more odds and ends, like a compact rope and such, that could all be useful to him if the need arose.

"I am NOT being dramatic; you just strapped a bomb to my hip that can level five city blocks! Inactive or not, a BOMB IS A BOMB!" He complained without dropping his arms and continuing to stay frozen in place.

"Brenden, I used to walk around with 10 to 15 of those on my person at all tis, and I can assure you I’ve had WAY MORE near-death experiences than you. With that in mind, I never once got blown up; I’ve got the pouch chanics down packed; you have nothing to worry about." To add cadence to my words, I stepped forward and threw a kick directly at the pouch with enough force to send my brother flying across the room.

"FUCK!" he scread as the kick landed on his hip, however since he was only a normie compared to my Alpha-Rank, there was nothing he could do to stop it except brace for impact, and impact he did, right into one of my shelves which shattered spilling its contents all over the floor and burying my brother under a mountain of materials.

"God damn it," I heard him complain from under the pile, and knowing I had used enough force actually to shatter his bones, I was quick to move and dug him out before feeding him a High Alpha health potion.

So minutes later, after the potion had taken effect and healed his injuries, Brenden glared angrily at .

"Oh, don’t give that look; how could I resist the urge to overpower you physically when you’ve been the stronger sibling for as long as I can rember," I said with a chuckle.

"Besides, it’s not like you have any lasting injuries or it’s the worst you’ve had; that potion patched you up good as new on top of the fact that you have a 6C body, which is far more resilient than you realize."

"I bet you barely felt any pain," rolling my eyes and shooting him a smirk, I double-checked that my brother was physically all right before moving back to my workbench.

"I’ll get you back for this…" I heard my brother grumble while dusting himself off.

"I’M NOT PICKING UP THIS SS BY THE WAY!" With that said Brenden didn’t wait for to give him anything else, partially as a ans to stop from giving him any more explosives and partially out of embarrassnt from getting his ass handed to him.

"I’m going to the training room; I already bought a weapon, so techniques, skills, and a Circulation skill…yes it was an expensive one, and yes, it is all-encompassing." With that said, he left the Workshop, leaving alone in the cold, dimly lit room.

’Moron, heh, still, it’s good to have him back…I wonder what Circulation skill he chose," with a shrug, I took out a half-finished black leather vest and began working on it, but not before dropping the room temperature back to its usual Below Zero degrees.

Around 9 hours later, since I hadn’t left the Workshop, Brenden ca and found seemingly having completed whatever workout or training he had wanted to do.

"Yo, I figured you’d be in here; what are you working on…" Coming up behind , Brenden asked; anwhile, I didn’t react to his presence and continued inscribing runes into the vambraces I was working on.

"You have your gear, but I still need my own. I wanted to get yours out of the way ahead of ti since you would need it the mont you returned, whereas I have all the ti in the world to work on my own."

"I…think that makes sense; anyway, I’m heading back. We’ve been in here all night, and it’s already morning…" Brenden said while hopping up onto the workbench and watching work.

Glancing at him out of the corner of my eye, I nodded before putting the finishing touches on the Runes I was working on and setting down my tools and the left vambrace.

"It’s Wednesday, which is one of Dad’s workdays," I said, but Brenden was quick to cut in.

"Yeah, I watched him leave for work earlier. I was a little surprised that he didn’t co into our rooms and check on us, but I figured that was your doing." Hopping off the workbench, Brenden hugged his hoodie close to his body since he couldn’t really deal with the Workshop’s below-zero temperature.

"It was but a minor convenience and non-invasive command; he doesn’t frequently check in on us, as in his mind, we are perfectly fine, and there is no cause for concern," I said, getting up and making my way to the door leading to the command center.

Upon entering the command center, I shot a glance at the caras, more specifically, the one in my bedroom, and noticed that Deeana was no longer in bed, and clicked my tongue in disappointnt, as I wouldn’t get to see her naked anymore today.

This slight tick didn’t go unnoticed by my brother, who was quick to comnt.

"Pervert, I can’t believe you have her parading around naked and sleeping in the sa bed as you,"
