The housekeeper aunty had been working here since Little Wang was very young. Little Wang was usually well-behaved and cute, and she had a deep affection for Little Wang. She was ticulous and attentive in her work, so whether it was Ruan Xia or Song Tingshen, they were reassured to leave Little Wang in her care.
Little Wang clenched his chubby hand. “Girls like to tell lies. Mom does too.”
The housekeeper aunty hastily went over to Little Wang and crouched down. “You can’t say that about your mom.”
“Mom isn’t going out to see her friend. She left to see Dad and bring him dinner.”
Startled, the housekeeper aunty reflexively asked, “How did you know?”
She naturally knew that Ruan Xia had gone to deliver dinner to Song Tingshen. She was the one that had packed the food container. But, how did Little Wang know?
Little Wang felt helpless. He was turning 5 next year. Why did adults treat children as fools? “That’s the food container that Dad uses. Dad didn’t co ho to eat dinner tonight, so mom must be bringing food to Dad. Mom didn’t eat much for dinner. I’m sure she’s going to eat dinner with Dad.”
The housekeeper aunty was stunned by Little Wang’s strong inference skills.
Little Wang put his hand in his pocket and shook his head. “Ai, I just didn’t want to expose her.”
The housekeeper aunty was amused. After all, it was very cute for a four year old boy to say those words in that tone.
“Then are you angry with your parents?” the housekeeper aunty asked.
“I’m a boy!” Little Wang emphasised, “How can I be that petty?!”
Although his mom had lied, it was impossible for him to be angry with his mom because he was a boy. Besides, he believed that his mom didn’t an to lie.

Ruan Xia had no clue that Little Wang had seen through her lie. When she arrived at Song Corporation, most of the employees had already left work. The remaining employees were working at their desks and eating takeout.
Assistant Chen led her to Song Tingshen’s office. Although she had only co here once, there were employees that recognized her. After all, her appearance was too outstanding.
Song Tingshen was still working. When Ruan Xia entered the office, he only raised his head, glanced at her, and returned to concentrating on work.
Ruan Xia didn’t bother him. She sat down on the sofa and took out the food container. The food at ho was sure to be healthier and cleaner than takeout. There were three dishes and a soup. In addition to that, she had made double skin milk for dessert.
About ten minutes later, Song Tingshen got up and sat down next to her. He briefly stretched his wrists. “I also get to enjoy this treatnt today.”
Ruan Xia passed him the chopsticks and asked, “What treatnt?”
Song Tingshen glanced at her from the side. There was a clear smile in his eyes. “The feeling of being envied is pretty good.”
He paused and lowered his voice. “Didn’t you see Assistant Chen envying ? He can only order takeout while my wife cos to bring dinner.”
What Song Tingshen didn’t say was that when Assistant Chen’s girlfriend was here on vacation last year, she had brought him dinner and kept him company while he worked overti. Those two had sat closely together at Assistant Chen’s and chatted and laughed together. As for him, he could only eat the business set al that Assistant Chen had delivered to him.
Today, their roles had changed. Assistant Chen was the one eating takeout by himself while he had a wife to bring him dinner and keep him company while he was working overti. He would also chat and laugh with his wife.
