Those two people t outside his office. They were both confused why CEO Song would call both of them over at the sa ti. People from the HR Departnt and Finance Departnt usually didn’t have much contact.
Assistant Chen led the two people into the office, and Song Tingshen temporarily put aside what he was working on. He said to the head of the Finance Departnt, “Li Jing is in your departnt. Her relative asked you from ti off for her. She won’t be coming back to work again. Discuss with HR whether or not to hire soone to replace her. Also, have a staff in the Finance Departnt clean out Li Jing’s desk and set aside her personal belongings.”
The head of the Finance Departnt was even more confused. This sounded like Li Jing had resigned, but why did CEO Song have to personally tell him about the resignation of an entry level employee? Could it be that the rumors were true? Was there a close connection between Li Jing and CEO Song? But CEO Song didn’t show any special care for her.
Song Tingshen looked at the HR manager next. “The company is dismissing Li Jing. If she had already beco a permanent employee, then pay out her severance pay in accordance to the labor law. Everything should follow the rules.”
The HR manager and the head of the Finance Departnt looked at each other in confusion.
He wanted to dismiss Li Jing?
So then, did Li Jing have a nepostic connection to the CEO? If that was true, then this had to be the most bitter one in history. The CEO was actually dismissing her himself.
