Chapter 121 – There was nothing that couldn’t be changed (3)

Ruan Xia indicated that she was against this. “Dad, Mom, and Little Wang are waiting for us to eat.”

Although there were many tis when she wanted to hit a car for cutting in front of her, she wouldn’t actually do it. When she swiped her circle of friends on WeChat and saw that soone had done it, she would feel quite delighted. It was great that they would use this thod to teach a lesson on those people that wouldn’t respect the rules.

She turned her head and glanced at Song Tingshen. This person wasn’t actually without a temper.

It was only that even if he really got angry, he wouldn’t show it. But the better that he was at concealing his anger, the more formidable opponent he was.

Looking at it this way, he was extrely tolerant towards the original owner.

However, why would he say those words in front of her? Based on her knowledge of him, Song Tingshen should have never said sothing like she should hit that other car.

Her image of him as a mature, steady, magnanimous guy had totally collapsed.

Father Ruan and Mother Ruan were still wrapping dumplings. Little Wang was a little king of destruction. He had ruined countless dumpling skins and even wanted to wrap his junk food inside the dumpling skin as a filling. This had already gone beyond questionable, creative cooking in Father Ruan’s opinion.

For lack of better options, Father Ruan went to an apartnt below their floor and used cake and ice cream to bribe their neighbor’s granddaughter to co over to play with Little Wang. This way, they could be spared of worrying and finish wrapping dumplings as fast as possible. He would also be able to make extra dishes as well as a soup while he was at it.

The cute little girl from downstairs was called Duoduo. She was about the sa age as Little Wang. The two kids played on the playing mat in the living room and ate cake too. Extrely happy, neither kid was tempted to go into the kitchen to cause trouble. Now that Little Wang had a friend to play with, he forgot his idea about making dumplings with junk food as a filling. The two kids played gas with the toys and eventually got to playing “Magic Mirror”.

Duoduo seriously faced Little Wang and asked, “Magic Mirror, tell , who is the prettiest person in the world?”

Under Duoduo’s strong request, Little Wang could only play “Magic Mirror” with her. Although he felt really bored, his teacher had said that boys should go along with girls’ requests. Since that’s what she wanted to play, he would play that ga with her.

Little Wang thought it over before answering, “My mom is the prettiest person in the world.”

Duoduo corrected him, “No, you can’t answer that way. You have to answer that Duoduo is the prettiest person in the world.”

“Okay.”

“Magic Mirror, tell , who is the prettiest person in the world?” Duoduo asked again.

Looking as if he had been put into a difficult position, Little Wang said, “... My mom is the prettiest person in the world. Duoduo, sorry. I can’t tell a lie. You’re really not as pretty as my mom.”

Duoduo was extrely angry. She stood up and tossed down the words, “I’m not going to play with you anymore,” before running out and going back to her grandparents’ ho.

When Ruan Xia and Song Tingshen arrived, Little Wang was sitting on the couch and watching TV. His expression showed that he felt very wronged.

Ruan Xia picked him up and asked, “”What’s wrong? Why do you look so sad?”

Little Wang told his parents what happened. His recounting was followed by a question. “Mom, why can’t girls handle the truth?!”

Ruan Xia was in a very happy mood, so she naturally wasn’t in the mood to answer this question. Putting her hands on Little Wang’s face, she kissed his face several tis.

Song Tingshen thoughtfully looked at their son and Ruan Xia. He seed to have figured out a new way to make her happy that wasn’t limited to giving her a house or car.
