Li Yuanhang held his breath. After an unknown ti had passed, he said in a sunken voice, “I got it.”
Hearing Li Yuanhang’s words, Song Tingshen relaxed. Although he didn’t think the issue with Li Jing was worth worrying over, there was Li Yuanhang between them. There were several years of friendship between, and so, it would be better if he said those words instead.
Even if he was still single and didn’t have a wife or child, he wouldn’t be interested in Li Jing.
Because of his friendship with Li Yuanhang, he couldn’t go too far with the things he did and the words he said. And so, he could only disclose the issue to his friend and have him resolve it. This thod would be better overall and would also give Li Jing face.
As soon as that call ended, Song Tingshen dialed an internal number to call Assistant Chen into his office.
“Have Vice General Manager Zhang take my place for tonight’s dinner eting. I’m busy,” Song Tingshen said.
Assistant Chen nodded and noted it down. “Okay, CEO Song.”
Assistant Chen was supposed to leave after receiving this order, but the boss hadn’t dismissed him. He could only stand in front of the desk and wait for his next order.
After being silent for a while, Song Tingshen looked at his assistant and asked with so difficulty, “I rember you have a girlfriend. Is that right?”
Assistant Chen had waited for a while, only to get a question that had nothing to do with work. It was inevitable that he would be sowhat dumbfounded. However, he was a very professional assistant and quickly braced himself for the task. He answered, “Yes. She works in City A, but she might transfer here at the end of the year.”
Song Tingshen nodded. “That’s quite good. How did you et?”
