61 Leaving

“Damn it, Kyle!”

Dr. Dall cursed under his breath but couldn’t do anything. He begrudgingly followed Kyle while his eyes still landed on Kate from ti to ti.

This was the first ti he saw an animal that can awaken abilities just like human.

“Is this your pet?”

“Yeah.”

“So the rumors are true...” Dr. Dall mumbled.

“What rumor?” Kyle frowned as they walked out of the building towards his car.

Dr. Dal looked at Kyle deeply. “It was said that so pets’ animal will side with humans instead of with the wild mutated animals out there. This is why so people began to think that it’ll be possible for the so called ‘beast tar’ to appear.’

“Beast tar.” Kyle snorted.

.....

His relationship with Little Kitty was nothing more than a relationship where they helped each other. Besides, there was no contract or whatsoever that bound the two of them right now.

“I thought it’s just a rumor because they didn’t talk that much in the group. But it might not be strange considering that so information is indeed kept a secret for now and these researchers wanted to research it for themselves.” Dr. Dall looked at Kate.

He himself wanted to research on his own. If he managed to find sothing, it would be for the best.

“ow!”

Kate hissed towards Dr. Dall.

“I can’t let you research Little Kitty. She wouldn’t like it.” Kyle put Kate on his lap while he started the car. Dr. Dall sat on the passenger seat and looked at Kyle with resentful expression.

“You force to co with you, but you’re not allowing to do any research?”

“You can research the corpses of the mutated animals. I have kept quite a lot of them inside Little Kitty’s space.” Kyle steered the wheels and stepped on the gas.

“Deal!”

Dr. Dall actually wanted to find out more about this little cat that seed to be exceptionally special. But he knew that he was also under contract to work under Kyle’s family. Even though he wanted to know more, it didn’t seem to be the ti for that yet.

“Where are we going now?”

“Dylan’s mall.”

“Ah? You’re going to take the resources there?” Dr. Dall understood instantly when he heard about Kyle’s plan.

“Yep. Your space still had a lot of space, right Little Kitty?” Kyle used one of his hand to rub Kate’s head lightly.

“ow~”

Kate then proceeded to tap Kyle’s hand once with her tail.

This action made Dr. Dall stared at the two of them furiously. Damn it! What kind of fairy cat is this?

She knew how to understands words and could even respond so well?

Ugh!

He really wanted to put her under the scan to find out whether this was truly a real cat or a humanoid robot that was newly invented to act just like how a normal cat would.

It didn’t take long for them to reach the closed mall. When the car stopped in front of the gate, it only took one second for the gate to open.

Dr. Dall arched his eyebrows. “That brat Dylan had already equipped this mall with such high technology?”

“He liked them.” Kyle was not surprised.

“Tsk, it’s really a waste for him to inherit his family’s business. I need to persuade his parents to just let him continue in this field.”

Kate blinked her eyes and looked at the door enviously. She felt that her education so far was useless considering that she didn’t even have an idea what they used for this automatic gate.

It should be the sensor, cara, and also motor, but she was not sure which one since there were so many types.

Dylan was already waiting for them.

Kyle walked out of the car. “Have you settled your people?”

“They’re following later.” Dylan frowned and pointed at the back where there were already several cars prepared. His n were mostly bodyguards who would be protecting him.

Anyway, many of them were retired military who had good relationship with their parents. He had no qualms bringing them along with their family mbers who had prepare themselves.

Kyle nodded. “Don’t forget to prepare supplies on backpack in case we’re separated.”

“Done.”

“Good.”

They walked inside and Kate was stunned.

She knew this mall.

Damn it! This Dylan is the young master of that huge corporation? She had never thought of eting him in real life!

Ahhhhhhhh~!

This was the mall for the rich because of the high price of many items. Kate had only been here once because she was dragged by her friends. Of course, she didn’t buy anything but so food because the items were expensive.

And now she will put them all into her space?

Is she allowed to take a look from ti to ti? She promised that she will not use them without Kyle’s permission.

“There are a lot of items here.” Dr. Dall looked around. “The average space users usually only have around 10 square ters until 100 square ters on the first rank. After each rank up, it’ll double or increase by a percentage between 10 to 100 percent.”

“You have a lot of information.” Kyle arched his eyebrows.

“The research facility is naturally the place where we’ll share information. Anyway, I also joined several groups that will allow to take a look at so of the shared information there.” Dr. Dall raised his nose as if to say that he was proud of his achievent.

Kyle shook his head and tapped Kate’s head lightly.

“It’s your turn, Little Kitty.”

“ow~”

Kate swayed her tail lightly and the items around them disappeared one by one. Even the racks that were used to place them were taken by Kate directly because she was too lazy to put them one by one.

It will be neater with those racks anyway.

Dylan looked surprised and looked at Kate. “Rank 4?”

“Yep.” Kyle nodded.
