Chapter 5: The World is Dangerous
After it was done, Kate struggled to climb the chair. She used Kyle’s body to climb to the chair and then used the chair to climb towards the table.
From here, she could see the outside world through the window as long as she stood up with her two back legs.
This classroom had large and long window, probably because the teacher felt that the students would feel bored if they were in an enclosed classroom for a long ti. Besides, Kate knew that this window also allowed them to know what happened outside.
‘There’s no one outside.’
Kate was looking outside while thinking that there was no one until she saw a large shadow walking from the side.
Her classroom was located at the third floor, so it would be impossible for her to get out through the window unless she wanted to die. However, this height allowed her to be able to see what happened outside.
And at this mont, Kate could see a mouse.

Not a normal mouse.
The mouse was as big as human and it walked towards the nearby tree. Its large body was shaking the tree and used its teeth to scratch it.
Thud!
Kate dropped on the table.
Her small limbs were all shaking in fear, no longer capable of allowing her to stand up.
‘WHAT IN THE WORLD IS THAT???’
Kate scread inside her mind but what ca out of her mouth was loud owing.
She wanted to cry.
The world is changing.
She understood that very well from the very mont she woke up as a little cat. There was no way that their current science would be able to explain the reason why a person changed into a small animal.
And now, Kate had just seen that a mouse changed into the size of human.
Tell her, how should she go out now?
If she ca out of this classroom, Kate was absolutely sure that the mouse would be the one chasing after her. The image of a mouse chasing after a cat appeared inside Kate’s head before she shook her head rapidly.
No matter what, she had to figure out a way to survive...
One way or another.
Kate looked around and slowly climbed down. She didn’t want to look outside again in fear that she would lose hope in this desperate world. She still wanted to live, but if she were to look at those... large mouse again, all she could see was the images of mouse chasing cats.
Soon, Kate reached down.
She turned to look at the direction of the chairs. It was ssy and covered her vision, but if she was not wrong, there should be other animals around here such as ants, small lizards, and so on.
After all, her friends had spotted them from ti to ti.
‘What should I do?’
Kate looked at the unconscious Professor Kyle and then at the row of large chairs and table in front of her. For so reason, she didn’t want to go there and check whether there were any dangers or not.
However, Kate knew that if there was any mutated animal here, both she and Professor Kyle would be in danger.
Kate took a deep breath and looked at her palm.
Rows of small claws appeared.
‘I can control my claws?’
Trying a few tis, Kate realized that as a cat, she now could control her claws. It was a strange feeling that she had never experienced before.
After making sure that she could take out her claws at any mont, Kate began to walk towards the row of chairs and table in front of her. At this ti, she really felt that the entire world hated her so much.
They looked so big, ah!
