309 Second Date in Different City
Lotte looked at Jake when she heard Kyle’s instruction. Thinking of what happened this morning, she could guess that this boyfriend of hers must be asking Kyle so that he could spend the day with her.
She snorted.
“Lucy, let’s go to the beauty shop. I heard that there’s already one opened in this city.”
“Ah?” Lucy looked at Lotte with confused expression. She saw Jake’s dark face and didn’t dare to agree.
Even if Jake was the most easy going person in the group, his strength was still in the forefront. She might be strong with her enhancent ability, but if she couldn’t get close to her target, this strength would be useless.
“I was thinking of leaving with Robby today.”
“…If you’re going with Robby, where should I go then?” Marc rolled his eyes. He felt that Robby is more popular than him.

Lotte snorted and glared at Jake.
But when she turned around, Jake naturally had returned to his sunny expression. It was as if the gloomy young man who looked at Lucy just now was not him.
Kyle was too lazy to deal with them and pulled Kate up. “Let’s go and take a walk.”

Kyle and Kate walked out but neither of them knew where they wanted to go. Looking at the street in City C, Kyle thought for a mont before pointing to one direction.
“The chocolate factory is over there. Mr. White said that we’re allowed to see the process.”
The process itself was not a secret.
Before these giant mutated animals appeared, they had been spread out through the television station from ti to ti.

“The order of the world is slowly returning,” Kate murmured under her breath.
She felt both happy and conflicted.
Happy because it ant that there would co the ti when they wouldn’t need to worry about their lives and death at any mont.
Conflicted because she knew that the presence of these giant mutated animals and awakened would definitely change many things in the future.
“It’s fine.” Kyle nodded and looked at the street. “Things will beco better.”
“Mhm.”
“What do you like to eat?”
“Huh?” Kate was stunned when she heard Kyle’s sudden question. Seeing his gaze, she chuckled lightly. “Sothing sweet.”
“Sweet, huh?” Kyle arched his eyebrows, looking at Kate deeply.
“What is it?”
“I’m thinking if there’s any candy store nearby.”
“Candy store?” Kate blinked her eyes. White Family specialized in chocolate but it didn’t an that they didn’t have candies. Though, it was just a branch and didn’t seem to be overly focused.
Thinking about the fact that she hadn’t eaten any candy for a long ti, Kate suddenly feel a bit hungry.
“The chocolate is already being made again, so I’m thinking that there should also be candy store,” Kyle explained calmly.
“We can ask in the factory later.”
Kate pointed to the front where the sign of White Family’s factory could be seen. It was located near the end of the city so that the noise wouldn’t affect the household. However, it could be said to be near their hotel because their hotel was the one nearer to White Family.
“The location is quite good.” Kyle nodded and then stepped forward, talking to the guard and then to the manager so that they could take a look.
The manager smiled when he heard Kyle’s request. “This factory had only started operating again around a month or two ago. So people liked to co here to take a look, but you have to be accompanied to make sure that you didn’t interfere with the worker’s work and also didn’t add anything inside.”
“I see.” Kyle nodded, understanding their reason.
In any case, he and Kate just wanted to take a look.

“Thank you. How much is this?” Kate asked.
“There’s no need to pay.” The manager waved his hand.
“How can it be. The chocolates are known to be quite expensive.”
“Ah, that… The higher up had instructed that mbers of Black Group didn’t have to pay if they paid a visit.”
Kate was stunned and turned to look at Kyle.
