279 Settling
After coming back to City E, the first thing that Jake did was to ask for his parents to help him arrange his marriage. The two people seed to be injected with chicken blood because they began to excitedly call people here and there as if they couldn’t’ wait to announce the fact that their son would get married.
Lotte’s parents even had to hear from Jake’s mother and they confird it with her.
At this mont, Lotte just felt intense embarrassnt when she recalled the way her parents talked about it. Her mother kept on reminding her that she had to know how to protect herself and a few dozens more advices.
She began to feel that getting married was such a hassle.
But she also wanted to be with Jake.
Thus, Lotte was in a great dilemma.
“But that’s the truth…” Jake was about to complain but when he saw Lotte’s expression, he decided to wisely shut up. It would be better for him not to irk his girlfriend in fear that she would suddenly lash out to him.
He didn’t want to have a taste of her wind elent again.
It was enough that he was beaten up from ti to ti in the past. He didn’t have the hobby to make Lotte angry all the ti.

“Will Dylan also co? I heard that his family is going to make him busy,” Marc remarked from the side.
After they returned to City E yesterday, he had been staying in his room. Dylan’s sister ca and brought him away, saying that Dylan will be working in his family’s business for now on.
It seed that this incident had caused quite the scare.
Without the healing elents, it was indeed very dangerous.

The main reason why the three of them were good friends with each other stemd from the fact that they were all actually troublemakers. They liked to cause troubles here and there.
While Dylan would not say much, but he himself was also involved in many of Jake and Kyle’s sches.
It could even be said that many of their tricks couldn’t be done without Dylan’s help. His capabilities in computing, programming, and hacking were indispensable when they wanted to erase the evidence of their pranks.
But that was in the past.
After such a long ti had passed, they also no longer played around that much anymore. After all, they had their matters they had to deal with.
Kyle was busy with his revenge.
Dylan was busy with his study.
And Jake was busy with his date.
*cough*
That was not exactly the point, but anyway, Jake was indeed the idlest. Since he couldn’t prank many other people, he ended up teasing his girlfriend a lot and ended up being beaten up by the angry Lotte.
Well, he deserved it.
“I thought that his family business will be very busy?” Marc was confused.
He didn’t know much about their family’s matters. After all, who would be talking about their family when they were chatting with others and fighting together?
They would not care about such thing and would rather talk about other matters.
This was what made Marc doesn’t know much about the other family mbers. As for himself, he didn’t have any family left, so he only stayed in the Research Institute most of the ti.
His only family is Robby.
So no matter how naughty Robby is, Marc will never leave this dog.
“Dylan is really smart. The polar opposite of Jake,” Lotte explained. “He can settle any problems quickly. You don’t have to worry about him unable to finish his work. That will never happen.”
“He’s that smart?” Marc was astonished.
“Of course. With these two in the sa class, they got perfect score in almost of their lessons.” Lotte could rember Jake was being forced to be tutored by the other two because of his ss in his lessons.
She even wondered how these three got together in the first place.
The other two aced their lessons while Jake was hovering between passing the line or not.
And after their graduated, they all took different path. But it was clear that Jake was steering away from the academic path and instead took other thods for him to earn money.
Though, it hadn’t been successful so far.
Still, with his easy going personality, he didn’t seem to care that much about his failed business and so on.
It was Lotte who had headache when she watched her boyfriend being like this. But in the end, she just left him be and chose to support him in whatever he wanted to do without having much expectation.
“That’s because Jake never paid any attention to his lessons.” Kyle glanced at Jake and ruthlessly exposed the other party.
Jake chocked.
He didn’t like those lessons, got it?
It was torture for him.
Seeing those lines on the book and everything, he only felt that he was going dizzy and that everything was truly difficult. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do to make these words made sense for him.
In the end, Jake simply gave up.
It was not for him.
He only worked enough to be able to pass the lessons so that he would not be punished by his parents. After that, he went on and played around with the other two boys, who never experienced what he felt.
How could they experience it?
Whatever was thrown to them, they could master it quickly.
It was to the point that Jake was thoroughly confused. Just like how a child was learning how to read and write a sentence. When Jake was still struggling with reading the first word, Dylan and Kyle had already finished rewriting the entire sentence.
He sighed.
Comparison was truly painful.
