256 Blood Stained Hands
Lucy stood forward and blocked the fist. She looked at Petra with mad look. “Don’t stop us, you b*******!”
She might be tired, but her anger fueled her energy right now. She just wanted to smash everyone who dared to step in front of her and blocked her way.
After being so frustrated for failing to protect Kate not long ago, what Lucy wanted to do was to kill everyone who dared to try harming them. She didn’t want anything to happen to Kate anymore.

Fire elent spread towards Petra group as Kyle took out the military car. He might want to kill Petra, but right now, he was more worried about Kate. He didn’t want to spare even a second more with Petra.
Lotte rushed to the driver seat, not caring about the fact that she actually only started to learn how to drive not long ago. Marc sat beside her with Robby and the others sat at the back.

They didn’t care about anything else and just wanted to leave this place. Anyway, with so many giant mutated animals around, it was impossible for the military to care about them unless they wanted to deal with these giant mutated animals first.
The people in City H was already in disarray because of the incident just now.
Not to ntion, the matters would not end so easily just like this.
Petra watched as the group left coldly.
Behind him, Lotus was looking at Kate in Kyle’s arm as her body trembled. She finally rembered the famous reverse healers in her previous life. Because she didn’t participate in the battle in City H, she only heard about the fact that there was a female reverse healer who went mad and killed almost everyone cruelly.
At that ti, she didn’t know the other party and only heard about the deeds. After that, it was told to her that this female reverse healer was from University A and also the sa faculty as hers.
This made Lotus even more nervous.
She had known that Kate is a reverse healer, but she forgot about the fact that this particular reverse healer was also famous because she destroyed City H. It was as if this matter was purposely forgotten by her, making Lotus very nervous.

She and Kate were not close.

Even the higher ups were treating her very carefully in fear that she would target them. As these reverse healers reached higher rank, the limitation would decrease while the range would increase.
At that ti, it was really hard for them to defeat this female demoness.

Lotus couldn’t understand this point.
From what she rembered in her past, the two of them were clearly only acquaintance who treated each other politely. There was no way that the two of them would be able to stay together, especially considering their background.

She felt that it would make no difference since Kate should have been a lone wolf who had no one around her and will kill everyone whom she deed to be blocking her way.
Kyle used to be part of the military until his family was destroyed in City B, forcing him to roam with his group with no roots.

Well, currently half destroyed but it will definitely be destroyed because there were simply too many giant mutated animals around the area. These giant mutated animals would not let them off so easily.
For so unknown reason, they liked City H so much.
And in the future, this place would beco the gathering point of these giant mutated animals. This allow a lot of people to co and try to challenge their luck only to be many to end up dead.
But the events that she saw with her own eyes right now was different from what she had heard in her previous life mories. This was sothing that Lotus couldn’t understand.
She had always trusted her past mories.
Because everything that happened around her were extrely correct to the point that she even felt glad that she could prevent so disaster. But because she was taking a different path from her previous life where she was at the bottom, so things have subtly changed.
It was just that…
The matter of these two villains, she had never been involved with them.
Yet, they were taking a completely different path from what she had known and heard in her previous life.
Lotus looked at the disappearing car in confusion. She was not a person who was involved deeply in these two’s lives, but why did her rebirth seed to have changed their lives’ trajectory so much?
