202 Talk with Lucy
Kate looked at Lucy helplessly.
Without the contract, she can leave Kyle’s side anyti. It was true, but Kate was reminded on the very day when she saw his cruelty and when she saw how decisive he was in killing. It would be a lie to say that she was not afraid at that ti, but Kyle’s expression was…
She didn’t know how to describe it, but she didn’t want to leave him.
He might be cruel and harsh towards others, but he never showed that side to her. He always pampered her and treated her so well that she often forgot that she was nothing more than his little pet.
It was really warm and comfortable.
As for why that blood contract could actually be made between the two of them, Kate guessed it was because she was a real human and also a real cat at the sa ti. Her transformation ability allowed her to switch between the two forms freely… or supposed to be.
She couldn’t be an adult yet.
But at the very least, she knew that when the rank was high enough, she might be able to beco an adult human again.
“I don’t know when the blood contract applied to humans. But he’s treating well, so I think it should be fine,” Kate reiterated.

“He won’t do that.” Kate frowned. “His ability is already amazing enough. Even without mine, he can already overthrow most of the people outside.”
Lucy fell silent.
That was true.
While the public was doing propaganda about Mr. Yuri for his fast advancent, their small team knew very well that Kyle was even faster. With their ability to gather resources and so on, they had been advancing rapidly to the point that it was difficult for others to catch up.
The so called talent require resources to grow was true.
Without sufficient resources, it was estimated that they wouldn’t be able to grow up so quickly and beco so strong.
And Kyle just have both because of his ans and way of gathering resources.
“Greed knows no bounds,” Lucy finally said.
Kate was speechless.
She knew that there were people who were greedy but she didn’t think that Kyle was like that. At the very least, after interacting with him for the past two months and saw many of his different sides, she couldn’t think that way.
Because she was a cat, it was impossible for Kyle to hide his habit and so on when they were interacting close to 24 hours a day.
She had seen many sides of Kyle.

Kate’s expectation of life has never been to be extravagant. Even if she was only given small pocket money each month, she could live a fulfilling live and enjoyed it well.

“If he dared to mistreat you, tell and I’ll beat him up.” Lucy’s eyes glowed dangerously. She cracked her fist together as if saying that if that Kyle dared to treat Kate badly, he had to be prepared of being beaten up so badly that even his father couldn’t recognize him.
As pure enhancent awakened, Lucy’s strength was definitely higher than Kyle’s defense. If he didn’t manage to react in ti and only fought head on, it was estimated that he would end up with a pig head.
Kate let out a free laugh. “I will.”
Lucy looked at Kate and picked her up to hug her. “Your life will be bound to him, so if he dared to harm you, remind him that your lives are connected with each other.”
“Yeah.”
Kate nodded.
She knew very well that the blood contract caused their lives to be tied with each other. This was one of the reason why Kate was hesitant to make the contract at first.
But the situation at that ti didn’t really give her much ti to ponder about it.
