128 Wake Up
It was a scary sight.
And Jake couldn’t even see clearly because he could only sense it because of his tal control. But it was more than enough to make him feel scared from the bottom of his heart.
“Kyle, these giant mutated ants are trying to break inside. The tal ceiling might only last for six to eight hours in this case even with trying to strengthen them.” Jake took a deep breath and controlled the micro particles to make these tals stronger.
The materials used by the engineers when building this place was already top notch. Now, Jake was technically using his ability to increase their strength even more, giving trouble for these giant mutated ants above.
Kyle narrowed his eyes. “When Lotte wake up, we’ll get out of this room.”
“Would there be more giant mutated ants out there?” Jake was worried about it. Without Little Kitty, they had no precise estimation about how many giant mutated ants are out there.
“If there are any of them, we’ll just fight them and then find a secure place so that we could take so rest.” Kyle took a deep breath. “The eight floor should be untouched, so if we could get the weapons there, we might be able to fight against these giant mutated ants.”
“Alright.” Jake nodded helplessly.
“Ok.” Dylan also agreed.

This seed to be the only plausible plans they had. Rather than staying here and wait for their death, wouldn’t it be better to try getting out with the slim hope of being able to obtain the weapon they wanted?
That way, they would be able to get out of here alive.
“Kyle, in the anti, why don’t you take the second gem? We don’t know if it will be useful, but you also found fire gem in that tunnel, right?” Jake finally rembered the gem that Kyle found.
Kyle arched his eyebrows and then took out the red colored gem in his pocket. He did feel the attraction, but it was no longer as strong as it used to be when he hadn’t absorbed the first gem.
“Kyle?” Dylan asked.
After taking a deep breath, Kyle nodded. “Alright, I’ll take it.”
“Good.”
The others nodded.
Kyle took the gem and it entered his bloodstream. With the experience from the first gem, Kyle could control the fire energy inside his body much better than before and integrated it into his body.
The process took much shorter ti than before.
When he finished, he saw that Dylan was still resting at the side while Jake was staring at the ceiling.
“How long did I take?”
“Huh? You’re done?” Jake was stunned. “You take like... 4 hours, I guess?”
“That’s significantly shorter than before.” Kyle nodded.
“How’s your strength?”
“I’m rank 5.”

The others looked at Kyle and knew that from this mont, Kyle would be the strongest in their team. His speed was truly like riding a rocket after obtaining these gems. Even though they were also a bit jealous, they still congratulate him from the bottom of their heart.
The stronger they were, the easier it would be when they took mission in the future.
After that, they continued to wait.
Ti passed like flowing water.
Jake looked at the ceiling from ti to ti because he could sense the destruction on the tal ceiling right above them. It was so bad that no matter how many giant mutated ants died, many more would replace them.

“Mana.” Dylan glanced at Jake.
Jake was speechless. “Fine, whatever you said. Can’t I have so kind of dreams so that I’ll be able to stay positive?”
Dylan looked at Jake deeply but didn’t say anything else. He was conserving his strength so that they would be able to deal with the giant mutated ants out there. After, either they ca out of the door or the giant mutated ants break in, they would have to fight.
Kyle looked at Kate.
He recalled the blood contract that the scientist Lica said to him in the past. It was unstable and many were not even sure about how it would affect them because they didn’t know the specific yet.
However, it was the only possible way for the owner of these pets to be able to understand what their pets were saying. And at this mont, Kyle was undoubtedly tempted to try it.

This blood contract had to be agreed upon by the two sides. It would be impossible for him to do it when Little Kitty was still sleeping.
Kyle sighed.
“I’m done.” Lotte opened her eyes and stood up. She then looked at the door and placed her hand there before releasing her wind elent beyond the door. While the ability had limitation, she could now bypass these kind of physical barrier by touching the door.
“It’s empty.”
“Wait, there’s no giant mutated ants out there?”
Lotte shook her head. “Unless these giant mutated ants could escape from my detection, I found nothing.”
“Rank 4 wind elent is really useful.” Kyle nodded and then glanced at Dylan.
Dylan walked to the door and began to hack it. Within 10 seconds, the door was already opened for them. It was a very simple skill for Dylan but if it was changed to either Kyle or Jake, it was estimated that the two of them would take an extrely long ti before they could achieve the sa result.
“It’s really empty.” Jake cheered.
Lotte rolled her eyes. “Do you not trust my ability?”
“No, no, I an, I trust you very much!” Jake quickly replied in a hurry for fear of his life will end in his future wife’s hand.
Lotte snorted.
Kyle ignored the two of them and walked outside. The mont he walked out, he narrowed his eyes. There was a kind of feeling that he was within the gem and there was so kind of energy that was protecting this area.
“Close the door.”
Dylan did it.
On the other hand, Jake was looking at the area around him with strange expression. Obviously, he also felt the sa way as Kyle and there was a strong attraction for him from a direction that was hard to resist.
“Let’s go.”
Kyle held Kate tightly in his arm and began to walk around the area. With Lotte able to sense each room, they found out that most of the areas in the seventh floor was intact. However, the entire east wing was completely broken and there was a large tal partition that separate the two areas.
So if they had to say, half of the seventh floor was destroyed.
“The door towards the eight floor is on the middle part that’s destroyed.” Lotte looked at Kyle helplessly. “There are countless giant mutated ants roaming in that area and it’s just like the floors above.”
“Can you see the condition of the eight floor?”
“Aside from the fact that the door is over there, I can’t sense anything.”
“How about if you place your hand on the ground?” Jake suggested.
Lotte crouched down and placed her hand on the ground. Sending out her wind elent, she was surprised to find an intact room down there. There were also countless devices that seed to be standing still.
“It’s intact down there. However, it feels as if there’s a freezer there.” Lotte didn’t know how to explain what she sensed.
Bang!
They heard faint explosion from the room where they previously stayed and looked in that direction. If they were not wrong, giant mutated ants were rushing in.
At this mont, they suddenly heard the warning alarm rang and then several partition suddenly appeared to block the areas around the room. Looking at it, the others were truly surprised. The control room in the seventh floor was so strong that it could technically protect them should there be any broken room.
“Are there still anyone in this place?” Jake asked incredulously.
“It should be AI.” Kyle walked to the nearby sofa and sat down. The loud noise just now seed to have disturbed Kate as he could sense her stirring a bit. He looked down and saw the little cat’s eyes opened slowly.
And a faint familiar call entered his ear, easing his tense heart.
“ow?”
