112 Conflict
It was not like Kyle cared about the people in City B. It was mostly because his family mbers and his friends’ family mbers were also there. Since that was the case, it would be better for them not to cause more trouble for them.
“Hmm, I see.” Jake nodded.
“Now!” The commander yelled when the last surviving mber of Sunshine Group finally reached them and the soldiers began to shoot these giant mutated animals.

In the middle of the night, the sound of these guns killing countless giant mutated animals could be heard. The insects were harder to deal with because they could fly and was faster than other giant mutated animals on the ground. But it didn’t an that they were invincible.
There were also awakened people among the military who used their ability to attack these insects one by one or by spreading their ability.
“Whoa, shall we help?” Jake asked. His hand was already itching to join the fight in front of him.
“I don’t think it’ll be necessary.” Kyle shook his head and watched the soldiers fought. The mbers of the last two groups were mostly on the ground, resting. They were so tired that they could really sleep directly.
The mbers of Black Group and Petra Group was relatively better.

They were faster than the others, so aside from ntal fatigue from driving for so many hours, there were no other problems they encountered. In any case, it was good enough that they were able to rest for a period of ti after encountering those damned giant mutated animals.

The battle alone lasted for two hours before these giant mutated animals dispersed. It seed that they also had so intelligence and knew that even if they continued to fight, these giant mutated animals would never win.
They all heaved a sigh of relief when they saw these giant mutated animals retreating.
Only the Heaven knew how anxious they were.
“Now, care to tell why these giant mutated animals attacked?” The commanders looked at the group of four rcenaries group in front of him.

Such a technology actually existed and she never heard about it. Well, then again, she was not considered as soone who continued to follow the trend of the masses and only heard about it from ti to ti.
Kyle narrowed his eyes. He patted Kate’s head. “Don’t worry about it.”

At this ti, Kyle patted his pocket and Kate knew that he wanted her to keep the lightning gem into her space. She obediently did it while taking out the portion of grains that ca out from the second granary they found.
The others also did the sa. Even though the giant mutated animals disturbed them, they still managed to snatch a lot of grains.
The soldiers looked at these people coldly and then looked at the grains. “Take out that large device.”
“Yes, Commander!”
The soldier ran and went back with a large box in his hand that looked pretty heavy. The commander took it and directed towards the grains in front of him. From the grains that ca from Sunshine and Rodent Group, there was no reaction whatsoever. However, from the grains that ca out of Kyle Group, there was a faint buzzing voice that quickly died down.
Lastly, it rang so loudly when it was near the grains from Petra Group.
“The other three groups may leave.” The Commander looked at Petra Group in front of him. “What did you find or what happened when you found these grains?”
Petra’s heart sank when he heard that machine reaction. Does it had so capabilities to detect whether there was any gem’s influence or not? If it was true, could it be that they would take the gem in his hand?
He was unwilling to give it to them.
“There’s a forest that was able to regenerate. More seeds seem to grow at the speed visible to the naked eye. It looks like an ordinary forest from outside...” Petra could only grit his teeth and explained what he saw on the first granary. Even though they didn’t take these grains from there, he chose to explain that place.
Kyle arched his eyebrows. It seed that the one who reached the first granary after them should be Petra Group. Because they had earth and wood elents among them, they could find the gems.
Interesting.
“So those giant mutated animals are chasing us because of you?” Sunshine Group mbers couldn’t stay calm. “Why do you have to drag us into your ss, ah!”
“How could I know that these giant mutated animals will co?” Petra shouted back.
The Rodent Group was also not calm. They had lost several mbers of their group and their heart was bleeding. Looking at Petra Group right now, they wanted to kill the other party into minceat.
Argunts rang out.
Kyle rubbed his forehead. “Commander, if there’s nothing else, I would like to leave first. We’re going to find a place to rest for the night and this place didn’t seem to be suitable.”
The Commander didn’t really care about the other three groups. What he cared the most was this Petra Group. He believed that they didn’t tell the complete truth. Or else, why would those giant mutated animals chased after them?
“We’ll go first.”
Under the watchful eyes of the soldiers, Jake entered the driver seat and drive them all away from that location. He knew very well that if they were to stay there any longer, these soldiers will definitely want to skin them alive.
After all, the one who obtained the gem was not only Petra Group but also them.

Leaving the other three groups that was still in the middle of arguing, Kyle and the other departed into the night once again. They actually wanted to sleep so badly, but they knew that it would be better not to stay with the military.
After an hour or so driving, Jake finally spoke, “What does those gems do actually?”
“It will help these giant mutated animals to grow stronger is one thing. Probably that’s why they’re crazy to obtain it. And it might be one of the reasons why these giant mutated animals are attacking the cities.” Kyle was calm. He patted Kate’s head. “The purple gem.”
“ow.”
Kate take out the purple gem and Kyle held it in his hand.
He guessed that both Petra and Lotus should have already obtained the gems of their respective elent. Though, he didn’t care that much because he just wanted to know how to use this thing.
“What are you going to do with it?” Jake asked.
“I don’t know.”
“Eat?” Dylan asked.
“OW!”
The gem was by no ans small. Kate had seen her gem and knew that it was fairly big. It was fine if Dylan’s big mouth could fit that gem inside, but her small mouth definitely couldn’t fit that gem inside.
No way!
“Why are you reacting so strongly, Little One?” Kyle rubbed Kate’s head while holding the gem in his hand. It felt sowhat hot, but he didn’t know how to use it at all.
Kate glared at Kyle and then took out a green colored gem, holding it tightly with her paws. “ow.”
“Ah, you have these gems too?” Kyle was surprised.
“Wait, what? There’s a healing gem there?” Jake was stunned. “I thought that there will only be those of wood and earth elent.”
“Considering that those plants are growing so fast, it would be impossible for there to be only earth and wood elent. The plants are also recovering, so healing ability might be among them.” Kyle nodded. “I guess this gem was at the back of the granary, right?”
“ow!”
“Is that why those plants regrow slower when we left?” Jake was pleasantly surprised. “In that case, could there be other gems?”
“It’s unlikely.” Dylan passed a glance at Jake.
