After seeing the couple off, Lin Yiyi noticed that and ng Yuran still seed a little bit down. She just assud that little kids didn’t like the separation blue and said to him, “Didn’t Xu Jie and the others asked you out a few tis? He had been quite close to Xu Jie, Li Yuebin, and Xie Ning, plus they would just be going from their privately-run grade school to its junior high school. It’s just a matter of swapping to a different building. They would still be going to the sa school. If luck would have it, they would be classmates for another three years.
Lin Yiyi knew that ng Yuran didn’t like to make friends much. It wasn’t easy to have three friends coming from the sa grade school.
Plus, she had t all three of them, and they were all good kids. Naturally, she hoped that ng Yuran would continue to hang out with them.
It was better than him sitting around with that cold look of his and looking unhappy day in and day out. He just might flip and turn into a villain one of these days.
ng Yuran nodded, and it so happened that Xu Jie was calling.
Xu Jie was a chatty one. Before ng Yuran was even able to say “Hello”, Xu Jie had already started talking, “Little Yuran, we’re having a friendly ga at school this afternoon. We have already invited you a few tis before. You can’t bail on us this ti…”
“I will be there.”
“…. If you are not coming…”
Xu Jie paused all of a sudden, as though he had yet to process ng Yuran’s words. His silence sounded like a pause button that had just been hit.
Just when ng Yuran was about to lose his patience, Xu Jie had co back to life again. “For reals? You are coming? I am telling you now, you can’t back out now that you have said yes. Else I will go to your house and drag you out…”
ng Yuran rolled his eyes.
