Chapter 76 – I am going to smack you (1)

Dubai was heaven for the wealthy.
Wang Xiaoyan did not have a lot of skills, but she had always been superiorly lucky.
She was lucky enough to be hired by an international company. Annd, shortly after she had joined the said company, it had arranged for an employee outing. It so happened that their boss was a fan of overseas travel and shopping, so he splurged and the employee outing turned into a 6-day trip to Dubai.
Wang Xiaoyan never dread that she’d have the chance to visit Dubai during her lifeti…
She was determined to take lots of pictures so she could show off later on!
And then, over at the Dubai Mall that was ranked #1 in the Dubai Travel Guide, she was able to film soone unexpected.
“Wow, I can’t believe I ran into Lin Yiyi here!”
She wasn’t exactly a fan of Lin Yiyi…
That was to be expected. Did Lin Yiyi have any “fans” who didn’t badmouthed her online?
Hmm, truth be told. The Lin Yiyi in real life didn’t seem that repulsive.
She took a few pictures stealthily with the cellphone before a few of her colleagues caught on and started wondering why she was snapping pictures randomly. Then…
“Oh sh*t! Is that Lin Yiyi?!”
“How do you know she’s Lin Yiyi? She didn’t look a lot like Lin Yiyi in her pictures.”
“Are you blind? She looked exactly like she did 10 years ago!”

It was only after Lin Yiyi and her gang was gone that they all gathered around and started swapping pictures.
It was only when they were taking their ti to look through the pictures that they had taken earlier that they noticed Lin Yiyi and her family of five…

A few of them in the group had the habit of posting to WeChat regularly, so they posted about running into Lin Yiyi at Dubai along with pictures that had been editing for clarity.
What’s so special about these pictures was that they were particularly good shots of Lin Yiyi, her parents and her two children. Even through the lens, one could see Lin Yiyi’s elegant look, her son and daughter with their similarities to ng Yan, and her parents with their excellent temperants.
Most importantly, each one of them were carrying so many shopping bags that it made others worry that they’d fall out of their hands at any given mont…
Not very many people noticed a regular traveling post on WeChat from a regular person at first. Only the poster’s friends and colleagues liked the post until, one day, so internet influencer who was a fan of entertainnt news happened to co across this and ntioned it sarcastically on their own WeChat account.
How could the star of all sorts of disses online still go overseas to shop? That was unfathomable!
Everybody has so sort of herd ntality.
It’s alright when one or two persons dissed another one. After all, a person, unlike money, could not be loved by everyone…
But when lots and lots of people dissed one person, then everybody would start thinking there was sothing wrong with the person.
Sotis, one didn’t need a reason to dislike another.
Especially soone like Lin Yiyi, who had been dissed by everyone since forever and then so.
Dissing her almost seed like a normality.
Which was why this simple encounter during a company outing, with rely a few high definition photos, pushed our poor protagonist onto the most searched list once again…
Lin Yiyi carried on her legacy of ending up on the top searched list!
