As far as the children’s custody was concerned, there had been no competition during the negotiation period.
ng Yan was a busy man, who sotis would be gone for four to five months for filming. He wouldn’t have ti to take care of the children…
The young one was only six; she needed soone there to take care of her every step of the day.
Lin Yiyi, on the other hand, wanted the custody of the children.
She figured that as long as she has their children, she’d have more excuses to go see ng Yan.
And Lin Yiyi had, indeed, looked for a string of excuses to et with ng Yan for a long period of ti after the divorce, making it difficult for ng Yan to avoid her.
ng Yan used to fall for that every ti at the beginning, but over ti he had gone numb.
He even stopped visiting his children as often as he used to.

On the other hand, inside the Lin’s mansion.
The family that were watching the most recent entertainnt news and happily listening to all sorts of gossip were all stunned, “?????”
ng Yan and Zhang Xiying had only been married for a little over a month. They certainly didn’t have a child busting out of a rock.
Not to ntion that Zhang Xiying had been busy with her filming career prior to that. There had never been any news that she was pregnant…
One thing was obvious, ng Yan’s two children were sitting on the couch right at this mont.
Neither one of them realized that it was their turn to be gossiped about.
Ms. Lin Ping was the first to recollect herself.
She even gave up on her favorite sunflower seeds, turned, looked straight at Lin Yiyi, and started throwing sharp words at her, “Just how useless are you? Why would you agree to let that actor bring his child onto the show? I am going to say out right now, that is a bad idea! Don’t you try to pull anything on and let them onto that stupid show.”
Lin Yiyi, too, was caught off guard by the news followed by being lectured by this lady here. She felt pretty wronged herself.
“No, mom, I have no idea what’s going on either. This was the first ti I’ve heard about it too…”
Lin Yiyi frowned. “I haven’t even seen ng Yan for a while now. The last ti I saw him was a month and a half ago. He never brought this up to . I am as confused as you are right now.”
“You still dare et up with him?”
Ms. Lin Ping continued with her verbal attacks at her daughter.
Lin Yiyi resigned and said, “That was Shanshan’s birthday and he ca with a gift. I can’t not let him see his own daughter.”
They usually wanted younger children to be on these types of shows.
Kids were naïve and still grappling with all the social norms and would occasionally blurt out so unexpected and funny things.
ng Yuran was already 13 years old, so most likely Shanshan was who they had in mind.
The crux of the matter was, they were completely blindsided.
They didn’t even find out until the news was already bubbling on the internet.
What was that ng Yan thinking?
It was true that Lin Yiyi hadn’t seen that ex-husband of hers in a long ti. She hasn’t even heard of his na lately….
She thought about it for a bit and said, “Perhaps the show only wanted to tie themselves to ng Yan to drum up more publicity. ng Yan would have contacted us if he was really going to go on the show.”
ng Yuran rubbed his sister on her head with a cold look.
It’s a sha that his sister was the one that they were after. If it was him, he’d grumble so loudly that they would wish they were never born.
The little girl, who had no idea what was going on, looked from her mother to her grandmother, then to her brother. She had no idea why everybody seed so upset….
She looked down, let’s give the lollipop a lick first.
