Chapter 31 – Let’s just call it silly dog (3)
The little girl looked up. Her large eyes blinked and she asked, “My friends gave lots of gifts, dad gave a gift, big brother gave a harpin. Mom, what’s your gift?”
Her courage had gotten a lot bigger. She even knew to ask her for a birthday gift.
As Lin Yiyi unwrapped another present, she answered without looking up, “Didn’t mom buy the dress you’re wearing today?”
Once the little girl, who thought she was going to get another gift got over her surprise, she pouted and dragged out a, “Oh.”
Her tone sounded disappointed.
Lin Yiyi heard this, but she pretended to not notice.
Later, she got a call from Old Wang and went downstairs.
She ca back with a bag.
Inside ng Shanshan’s room, she and her older brother were still unwrapping her gifts. When she saw that her mom had co back and was holding a bag, her round eyes were full of curiosity that couldn’t be hidden.
At this ti, a soft “ow” ca from the bag….
“It’s a kitty!”
ng Shanshan’s eyes widened.
“Yes, it’s a little kitty.”
Lin Yiyi put the bag down and pulled down the zipper. A silvery-white kitten vigilantly stretched its head out of the bag. “This is mom’s gift to Shanshan. Do you like it?”
“Yup, I like it.”
ng Shanshan had already tossed away the stuff she had been holding and ran over.
Seeing the smaller figure that was suddenly running over, the kitten got scared and went back inside the bag.
There was a belief that frequent contact with baby animals would increase a young child’s compassion as well as their immune system…
In the past, Lin Yiyi had wanted a pet, but she didn’t have the opportunity or the qualifications to do so. Now, she had the opportunity and could use the reasoning that she was giving it to a kid.
Seeing that ng Shanshan liked the kitten a lot, she felt relieved.
But, the kitten wasn’t willing to play with the little girl.
After the kitten climbed out of the bag, it ignored ng Shanshan, who kept trying to get the kitten to like her. Instead, it detoured around her and went to the other side of the room.
When the kitten rubbed its furry head against ng Yuran’s long legs, he stiffened.
With cold expression, he lightly kicked it and it rolled away…
After rolling over several tis and coming to a stop, the kitten went back to ng Yuran’s side. It seed as if it had found sothing fun. It tugged on the teenager’s pants and rubbed its head against his legs again.
ng Yuran: “…”
ng Shanshan wasn’t upset that the kitten had ignored her. Clapping her hands, she said, “Let’s give the little kitty a na ~”
After saying this, she expectantly looked at her mom.
Lin Yiyi felt shook up by her look.
She wanted a good-for-nothing like her to na the kitten?
Sorry, her brain only had food nas like stir-fried pork and Kung Pao Chicken…
At this mont, ng Yuran, who had been silent this entire ti, suddenly said, “Silly dog.”
Silly dog?
The mom and daughter were both stunned.
“It’s a kitten…”
ng Shanshan was a bit unhappy.
How could a kitten be called a silly dog?
