Chapter 27 – ng Yan: ??? (2)
Feeling her hands, which were so soft that if felt as if she had no bones, on the sensitive areas of his waist, ng Yan felt his heart softening.
“En.” He turned around and hugged his wife by her shoulders. “I just rembered. Today is Shanshan’s birthday. I… I’m going to go see her.”
When he got to that point, ng Yan paused. His long eyebrows were slightly furrowed.
Although he had divorced her, there was still their children to think of. He couldn’t completely abandon them.
But, as soon as he thought of having to endure his pestering ex-wife in order to see his children, he couldn’t help the lines that appeared on his forehead.
Zhang Xiying hadn’t expected that he would say this. For a mont, she was too surprised to react.
She knew very well that ng Yan loathed his ex-wife. Of course, she also knew that he had two children with his ex-wife.
However, these two children’s custody had already been given to his ex-wife, and his feelings for them weren’t strong. Even if they were his biological children, they wouldn’t be able to hold onto him.

He was soone that had devoted all of his energy into his career. Now that half of his attention had been given to her, how could there possibly be enough leftover to give to anyone else?
She wasn’t worried that her husband would be won over by that woman. He had been married to that woman for over a decade. If his ex-wife actually possessed any skills, how could she have been able to step into their marriage?
After thinking it over, she nodded and said in a very sincere tone, “It’s only right that you pay her a visit. Shanshan is your daughter. If I were to see her, I would treat her as my own daughter and love her as much as if I had given birth to her myself. How about this, I’ll go with you to pick out a present, and you go see her afterwards. She’s just a little kid, and she hasn’t seen her dad in a long ti. She’s sure to miss you a lot.”
In order to get so asure of success in the entertainnt circle, you had to be savvy. It was easy enough for Zhang Xiying to know the right words to say that would appeal to ng Yan.
She understood ng Yan. It wasn’t difficult to say the words that he wanted to hear. However, no one knew what she was really thinking…
ng Yan hadn’t expected she would have this response. He imdiately felt at peace. If he compared Lin Yiyi’s personality to his new wife’s generous nature, it would be like comparing mud to a cloud.

In the other villa, no one was expecting that the ex-husband would co over to see his daughter. Lin Yiyi and the little kids had just finished signing Happy Birthday. After seeing that ng Shanshan had blown out the candles, Housekeeper Zhang and Little Chen turned the lights back on. Even if was almost dark outside, the entire villa was brightly lit.
Everyone was happily enjoying the cake together, so no one noticed when Housekeeper Zhang left to open the door.
The gated community had excellent security, and a stranger definitely wouldn’t have been able to get inside. But, the security guards at the gate recognized ng Yan, so they allowed him to enter.
He was the Lin family’s son-in-law and a famous actor. Who wouldn’t recognize him?
ng Yan made no secret of his presence as he drove into the villa.
Seeing that it was ng Yan at the door, Housekeeper Zhang was stunned. She hadn’t expected him to be the one visiting.
However, it wouldn’t be good to interfere in soone else’s family affairs. Seeing that ng Yan had co here with a present, it was obvious that he had co here to see his daughter. So, how could she stop him from coming inside?
Right after Lin Yiyi handed a piece of sliced cake to ng Yuran, she heard Housekeeper Zhang say that ng Yan was waiting at the front entrance.
She hadn’t spoken quietly, so ng Yuran and ng Shanshan heard her too.
ng Yuran’s face remained expressionless, but his gaze was icy as he looked towards the doorway.
ng Shanshan was a bit stunned. Her expression was blank. She could only helplessly look at her mom.
Lin Yiyi was stunned too. She had heard about this ex-husband from other people and had even once thought he was already dead. She couldn’t imdiately recover from the surprise of his visit.
“Why is he here?” Lin Yiyi sowhat blankly asked.
Ms. Lin had once tried to kill herself because of this ex-husband. And now, instead of rushing over to see him, her response was only this…
Housekeeper Zhang opened her mouth, but she suddenly felt as if she couldn’t find the right words to say.
ng Yuran lightly smiled when he saw his mom’s reaction to the news.
But, his smile was very light. It almost couldn’t be seen.
“He’s probably here to see Shanshan on her birthday.”
He turned his head. Looking at Lin Yiyi, he asked, “Mom, don’t you want to go over to see him?”
He almost couldn’t wait to see that man’s reaction…
In this family, there had only been one person that welcod this man’s presence, but now, she wouldn’t be able to recognize him!
Wasn’t that very ironic?
