The night before the Golden Week National Holiday, ng Yuran, Xu Jie, and two others walked out of the school as they chatted. Actually, the other three were doing the chatting and ng Yuran was only responsible for the listening part.
Lao Wang was supposed to be picking him up today.
As soon as ng Yuran stepped out of school, he saw a young and beautiful woman.
Zhang Xiying had just picked up her sister, Zhang Xiruo, who was a freshman in junior high. She was not in a rush to leave but waited by the front door of the school until she saw ng Yuran.
The two of them hadn’t really t face to face before. One of them had seen the other from the TV screen before and the other one had seen the first one from her husband’s photo album on his phone.
The only ti that they were in close contact with each other was when Zhang Xiying went looking for Lin Yiyi that one ti.
She must admit that ng Yan’s son was exceptionally outstanding. He just might be even better looking than ng Ran in ten more years. It was only that their last eting was far from pleasant for her.
Zhang Xiying walked over to the young man with her sister in tow.
His other three buddies had already bid him farewell and taken off.
“Hi, Little Yuran. I trust that you know who I am.” Zhang Xiying gave him a friendly smile. She even reached out a hand to shake hands with him.
With his backpack lugged across his left shoulder and his hands in his pants’ pockets, he waited for her to pull her hand back awkwardly before he gave her a sluggish look and said, “Oh… who are you again?”
Zhang Xiying, “……”
This boy was not cute at all! He must be doing this on purpose!
Zhang Xiruo looked up at her sister, then at the big brother in front of her.
It was always easy for any good-looking person to gain the fondness of others. The sa could be said for Zhang Xiruo. Her sister knew this little big brother, who looked like a prince straight out of so book!
“I’m Zhang Xiying. You can call Aunt Zhang.”
Zhang Xiying secretly took a deep breath and said to ng Yuran mildly, “Your father asked to co and pick you up, so you can stay with us for a couple of days.”
She was here to pick up Zhang Xiruo anyway, so picking up ng Yuran at the sa ti wasn’t too much of a hassle.
ng Yan had always wanted to have his two children stay over at his place for a few days.
It so happened that the Golden Week National Holiday was going to start tomorrow, and both the school and the production teams were out. ng Yan would be able to relax over the holidays.
ng Yuran frowned and asked, “Is my mom okay with that?”
She probably didn’t… He had never heard her ntioning anything about it!
As such, he doubtfully looked at Zhang Xiying as though he was looking at a kidnapper.
As much as Zhang Xiying bragged that she had a good temper, she felt very uneasy right about now.
“Your dad ntioned it to your mom. She said she’s okay with it as long as you two are okay with it.” That sounded so much like sothing that Lin Yiyi would have said.
Zhang Xiying kept her temper, which had been getting worse lately because of everything that had been going on, in check as she continued to work on persuading him. “Besides, your dad had already picked your sister up. They are probably almost ho by now.”
Did he think that she liked having her husband’s two children bouncing around in front of her?
She did not want to be involved in this at all had ng Yan not brought it up multiple tis!
That sounded so much like sothing that Lin Yiyi would have said though.
ng Yuran had an idea, but he was in no rush to change his stance. “Let give Shanshan a call first.”
ng Shanshan had a few smart watch phones and would always have one on her no matter where she went, so that she could always get in touch with her family.
He dialed her and she answered right away.
“Big brother~” The silly girl’s voice was filled with dependence. “Where are you? Daddy said you are at his place, but I didn’t see you when I got here.”
Between the call and what Zhang Xiying had said, ng Yuran was able to put 2 2 together.
Only that foolish sister of his would fall for this!
ng Yuran’s face turned even colder.
