Chapter 160 – Ms. Lin Ping was genuinely surprised by this Lu guy’s learning curve (2)
Lin Yiyi did like seafood a lot.
Not only to eat, but more so to cook.
Her stepdad fished a lot in the past and would bring ho fresh fish every day to allow her quite a few opportunities to exercise her skills.
After Ms. Lin Ping and Mr. Gu had headed back to US, Lu Xun started delivering them on his own.
That’s why the Lin’s had no shortage of fresh fish.
The ones that they ate at ho were fished from the river, but for top grade seafood, one needed to get seafood fished from the ocean.
Lu Xun took her to a booth at the night market. It was higher end than a regular booth. They had a wide selection of seafood. Cost-wise, it was more expensive than most other places.
All in all, Lin Yiyi was quite happy with the place.
“For the freshest of all seafood, one must catch them straight from the sea and cook them right away.”
Fresh seafood that was cooked straight from the ocean didn’t even need any seasonings to taste good.
Unfortunately, Lin Yiyi never had the chance to try that in the past, and she still hasn’t had the opportunity to try that yet.
Lu Xun was a fishing fanatic. His interest was imdiately piqued when she ntioned fishing in the sea. “You know about sea fishing?”
“Of course!”Lin Yiyi raised her brows, “I’m a chef. A professional one!”
“Our club has arranged for one once before. We thought about doing it again, but it was very difficult to find a ti that works for everyone, so it has yet to happen.” As Lu Xun said that, he looked at her and said, “What say we go together next ti?”
Having said that and as though he was worried that she’d turn him down, he quickly added, “Lao Gu had been wanting to go sea fishing for the longest ti. We should at least do it once for him.”
Were they really doing it for her stepdad or soone else?
Lin Yiyi gave him a sideway glance and smiled.

This ti, Lu Xun was extrely efficient in carrying out his plans.
He had just finished suggesting it to Lin Yiyi before he turned around and discussed it with Mr. Gu Chengyi in the back.
The two discussed all the details over the phone. Feeling that the earlier the better, they decided on this upcoming weekend.
Ms. Lin Ping was genuinely surprised by this Lu guy’s learning curve. He had just gone on a date with Yiyi with her help and was now he was reaching out to her Lao Gu!
She felt very reassured.

Lu Xun ca well prepared. He even bought a 7-seater Lincoln SUV. In addition to the five mbers of the Lin’s family, he brought with him his own baggage.
Lu Mingzhe, the baggage, was dragged along for headcount purposes.
Right now, he was waiting inside of the car for the Lin’s. When the Lin’s ca out, they started loading their luggage into the back of the car. The car rocked as the luggage was being loaded.
Bored, Lu Mingzhe gazed at the front door of the Lin’s mansion.
ng Yuran had his hands inside of his pants’ pockets and also had “bored” written all over his face.
His little sister, ng Shanshan, was following behind him with a cotton candy in her hand.
Sensing the look from Lu Mingzhe, ng Yuran was alard and stopped in his steps.
And the very next second, his little sister bumped right into his butt.
ng Yuran, “……”
“That hurt. Big brother, rub…”
The little girl frowned and whined.
ng Yuran ignored his little sister’s demand and poked her on her forehead instead. He got a milky “bad big brother” in return before he held her hand and walked over to the SUV.
Lu Xun, who had helped the Lin’s load all of their luggage, closed the trunk. While waiting for the others to get inside of the car, he waved at the young man and the little girl, “Co. Little Yuran and Shanshan can sit here.”
By the ti the two got to the car, the seat arrangent had already been made.
Lu Xun was the driver with Lin Yiyi in the passenger seat. Ms. Lin Ping and Mr. Gu Chengyi had already settled into the middle row… The only available seats left were in the back row.
In the back row, Lu Mingzhe had already taken the farthest window seat.
ng Yuran didn’t want to sit with him, but he had no other options. He helped his little sister get inside the car…
ng Shanshan reached out her short little leg, but before she was even able to put it onto the car, an arm reached over.
With a slight pull, Lu Mingzhe was able to easily pull the little girl into the car and seated her next to him.
With that, ng Yuran’s face dropped again.
When he sat down on the other window seat in the back row, he didn’t even give Lu Mingzhe a look but turned his head and looked out of the window.
None of the “parents” in the first two row noticed the odd atmosphere in the back seat.
Sitting in between the two icebergs, the little girl looked to her left at Big Brother Zhe, who showed no desire to play with them, then looked to her right at her own brother…
The only thing her big brother left for them was the back of his head!
Well, fine! If they didn’t want to pay her any attention, she didn’t want to pay them any attention either!
She would just keep on enjoying her cotton candy…
