Chapter 142 – Don’t worry. I will be here for you (1)
In the end, Lu Xun never made it to Lin Yiyi’s place.
In the next few days that followed, Lin Yiyi had thrown herself completely into her work.
Their company had started long after other ones, and its scale was quite sizable. Plus, as soon as they had entered into the film market, they had imdiately invested in two big productions. That was what was called “throwing money around”…
Or, to put it in different words, the fool and their money would soon part.
Her company had been evaluating thousands of movies lately.
Granted, it would take ti to sort out the good ones.
Lin Yiyi was not much help when it ca to this.
She was only familiar with so directors and actors, and only the movies that were still well-known so ten or twenty years down the line. But all of these were hidden sowhere in the pile of business plans.
Luckily, she has the very competent Tao Jiahui.
“Let’s focus on the few that we have heavily invested in for the ti being. By the way, “Earth-shattering” had already begun its shooting. Take a look at the official makeup photos. The responses had been very positive.”
Having said that, Tao Jiahui suggested, “From this point forward, we can try slowing down our pace and try to reach out to so playwrights and independent filmmakers and aim to eventually produce our own films.”
Like Shengshi Entertainnt, they have thousands to tens of thousands of scripts waiting to be turned into movies. They only needed to say the words and countless actors and playwrights would throw themselves at the opportunity.
That, too, was Lin Yiyi’s goal.
During the ti, while Xinri dia was insanely busy, the filming of “Earth-shattering” had comnced officially.
The male lead of the movie was Film Emperor Yan Qin. He was not the handso type like ng Yan, but his acting skill was undoubtedly world-class. He had won many awards in the past and always had a very good reputation.
The female lead was a fairly popular actress as well. She had only started on the big screen a year ago but already has two billion in box office.
The most surprising part of it all was that Film Empress Dong Manqing played the role of the second female lead…
All the other important roles were almost all taken by first and second tiered actors and actresses.
All in all, the scale of this movie by Lu Sen was fairly sizable and all of the cast mbers brought with them their own reputation and popularity. It was very heavily talked about.
The shooting of the movie has just started, and it has already attracted a lot of attention from fans. That was most certainly sothing that investors love to see.
But, just when everything was looking up and up, and that the movie was being ntioned on web dia or tabloid on a regular basis with all the everyday lon-eating crowd following up the developnt of the film periodically, another news started to spread online.
“Zhang Xiying, the original candidate for the role of third female lead in ‘Earth-shattering’ was replaced by new actress Yao Ying. Recent discovery indicated that Zhang Xiying was tragically replaced because she had offended Lin Yiyi.”
This was first seen on so public forum on Weibo and was dismissed as junk news by most.
However, as more and more people noticed this article and then with so unknown person starting the event of listing out all sorts of realistically-sounding incidents in support of this news, many others started to follow suit blindly.
Over the course of just one day, this piece of news was reposted countless tis. It was also re-edited and re-posted by many other web dia and had made its way onto the most trended search list.
By the ti Lin Yiyi found out about it, the article had already been circulating and brooding for a day on the internet.
Under the staring eyes of her employees, who had all sorts of gossipy, curious, and other unnad emotions, Lin Yiyi walked straight into her own office, put down her purse, turned on her computer, and looked at the #1 top trended search in one fell swoop.
One of the topics was: a look inside the rules that dictate the replacent of a candidate for a specific role.
