Many children and grandchildren from wealthy families or families with family businesses would start their own company or companies to prove their own abilities. It certainly sounded great, that they could build their own successful companies without the help of their families or parents…
Then, when they had beco “successful”, they would take over the family businesses, just like everyone had wanted.
Nevertheless, everybody also knew that if it wasn’t for their wealthy families or the network that belonged to their family businesses, nobody would know who they were or specifically do businesses with them.
All of those happened precisely because of their family backgrounds.
It sounded good, but they were basically a subsidiary of their family business.
Many companies were ford then disappeared all the ti. Perhaps less than 10% of them survived. It was difficult to make it without a certain background.
When Lin Yiyi started her own film company and that it was going well, everybody just assud that Ms. Lin Ping was now interested in getting into the film industry.
Which wasn’t too surprising. She wouldn’t be the first person who had done that.
The dostic film industry was still in its infancy stage. Anyone with so half a brain would be able to tell that it has a lot of potential.
Now that everyone had found out the “truth” about Lin Yiyi’s company, they would just wait and see.

At this very mont, Yu Xiaofei dashed into the studio and saw ng Yan sitting on a couch reading his script.
They had just signed the contract for this new film and were just waiting for the filming to start.
“The Enemies Are Approaching” was a movie of Director Guo Sheng, a new and rising director.
This movie was on the R*pe of Nanking about how China had fought the Japanese and the role of a foot soldier…
It had dramatic war elents, moving emotional elents, as well as helplessness in a desperate situation.
It would doubtless be a great movie if it was done right.
ng Yan had high hopes for it.
“Yan-ge, I just got the news that the capital for ‘The Enemies Are Approaching’ has been funded. Guo Sheng had already announced the filming date within the group.”
Yu Xiaofei wiped away his sweat, picked up a bottle of water, and chucked half of it right away.
ng Yan’s eyes never left the script. He rely nodded in acknowledgnt when he heard Yu Xiaofei’s words.
Yu Xiaofei put down the bottle of water, looked at ng Yan, and struggled to find his words. “Well… Xinri dia had also invested in this movie.”
Xinri dia?
ng Yan finally looked at Yu Xiaofei. “What do you an by that?”
“Yan-ge, you might not know this yet, but Lin Yiyi had started her own movie company by the na of ‘Xinri dia’. Rember a while back Xiying-jie had pulled a lot of strings trying to get onto Director Lu Sen’s newest set? Lin Yiyi had invested in that one also.”
Speaking of Lin Yiyi, Yu Xiaofei felt sowhat regretful.
Truth be told, he really wasn’t aware of Yan-ge’s ex-wife’s family background.
Had he known before…
Aye. Didn’t matter. It’s all water under the bridge now!
ng Yan’s main focus was on his work or maybe on the studying of the scripts. He knew very little outside of that.
Yet as an agent who was out there all the ti, Yu Xiaofei was well aware that right now the entire world looked at his Yan-ge like he was an idiot.
If not for this, Zhang Xiying certainly wasn’t a bad choice.
She has the potential in acting and was decorous and poised in personality. She was even a few years younger than Lin Yiyi!
Nevertheless, when compared with Lin Yiyi….
Yu Xiaofei felt quite pitiful toward his Yan-ge.
Nobody even knew that his ex-wife was from a prestigious family until after the divorce…
Even as his agent, he was quite speechless when it ca to this issue.
