[Steam City, Gear Tower, Fiftieth Floor]

[Stellar Envoy Association - Steam City Branch, Front Desk Information Registration]

"Na."

"Ink Wash."

"Stellar Envoy Rank."

"Second Class, Mid-Tier."

"Stellar Source."

"Ink Manipulation."

The front desk receptionist entered the information Tendo provided into the computer before her, one by one.

After completing these basic tasks, she looked up, her bionic eyes ticulously examining the two, as if verifying sothing.

The young man wore a classical, moon-white long gown, with dark bamboo patterns embroidered on the cuffs.

Paired with his black-rimd glasses perched on his nose and his gentle, scholarly deanor,

he appeared remarkably unremarkable, completely lacking the sharp edge of youth, and quite amiable.

The little pink-haired girl beside him clutched her cute little bear backpack tightly, her entire face almost buried in the man's pant leg.

Her eyes were timid, yet she couldn't hide her curiosity as she observed the unfamiliar Stellar Envoy Association.

Noticing Little Danica's slightly restrained emotions, Tendo smiled and gently patted her head, signaling that she didn't need to be nervous.

Under Tendo's comfort, Little Danica quickly cald down.

anwhile, the association staff at the front desk, after simply recording the data they had scanned.

Pulled out the data cable from behind their ear and precisely inserted the plug into a data port on the workstation in front of them.

Connecting to the building's quantum database.

After confirming that a person nad 'Ink Wash' indeed existed in the Deep Blue Branch, and that Little Danica posed no threat.

The staff politely said, "Mr. Ink Wash, sorry to have kept you waiting. Please show your association badge."

Tendo took out the badge he had already prepared and handed it to the staff mber.

The staff mber took Tendo's badge and inserted it into a special detection device at the front desk.

Amidst the sound of gears shing, the crystal at the top of the device emitted a soft white light.

Seeing this, the staff mber understood that Tendo's identity was likely without any issues.

Because his information was correct, and his association badge was genuine.

However, to enter the core area of the Steam Branch, Tendo still had one final hurdle to pass.

"Mr. Ink Wash, please co this way."

"Alright."

Tendo took his association badge back from the staff mber and followed them, quickly arriving at a specially designed Stellar Energy Scan Room.

To prevent Tendo from misunderstanding, the staff mber specifically explained, "Mr. Ink Wash, it's not that we don't trust you, but every external Stellar Envoy needs to undergo such a special registration when registering here at the association. Please understand."

Tendo smiled and said, "It's fine, I underwent similar checks when I was at the Deep Blue Branch."

As his words fell, Tendo silently turned his head to look at another Stellar Energy Scan Room not far directly opposite him.

Outside that scan room, an elderly silver-haired man was standing, seemingly waiting for soone special inside to finish their scan.

Although he was rely standing there, Tendo felt a familiar scent.

A scent... nad 'catastrophe'.

Noticing Tendo's gaze, the old man seed to sense it and subconsciously turned to look.

In the instant their eyes t, Tendo imdiately nodded as a greeting.

The old man, in turn, nodded slightly, returning the courtesy.

Then, he stopped looking at Tendo and waited patiently by the door.

"Mr. Ink Wash, the scan room is ready. Please co in with ."

"Alright."

"Little girl, you don't need to go in. Please wait here for a mont."

"Ah? But, that..."

Seeing the hesitant Little Danica, Tendo smiled and said, "Wait here for a bit, Danica, it'll be over soon."

"Okay, okay."

Hearing Tendo's words, Little Danica, carrying her small backpack, painstakingly climbed onto the rest chair next to the scan room and sat down obediently.

And just as Tendo followed the staff mber into the scan room.

The scan room directly opposite him happened to open.

A long-haired, brown-haired woman walked out of it expressionlessly.

However, the mont she stepped out, she coincidentally caught a glimpse of Tendo's back as he just entered the scan room directly opposite, and her pupils suddenly constricted.

Even though there was so distance, and she only caught a fleeting glimpse of his back.

That inexplicable sense of familiarity still made her heart suddenly stop.

"Miss?"

Looking at the dazed Chen Xing, Fox imdiately asked with concern.

Chen Xing, coming back to her senses, didn't answer his question imdiately.

Instead, she imdiately asked in return, "Uncle Fox, did you see what the person who just entered the scan room opposite looked like?"

Fox thought for a mont, then replied, "An ordinary-looking young man with black hair and black eyes. But he had a very good personality and was very polite. Why do you ask?"

"Black hair, you say..."

"Miss..."

Hearing Fox's words, Chen Xing finally ca to her senses.

She rubbed her temples. Feeling she might have had an illusion, she shook her head and said, "It's nothing, Uncle Fox. I might have just been seeing things. Let's go, don't keep them waiting."

"Alright."

Tendo looked calmly through the scan room's glass door at Chen Xing and Fox as they walked past outside.

At the sa ti, Chen Xing outside the door subconsciously glanced inside.

Upon realizing that the person in the scan room was indeed just an ordinary young man with black hair and black eyes, as Fox had described.

A clear disappointnt flashed in Chen Xing's eyes.

However, while logic told her that this black-haired man was not the person she was looking for.

Her inner intuition kept telling her that there was definitely sothing wrong with this black-haired man.

But she couldn't pinpoint what exactly was wrong.

As a result, Chen Xing remained preoccupied after leaving the scan room.

This greatly surprised Fox, who was by her side.

After all, in all the ti he had followed Chen Xing, it was the first ti he had seen her so 'confused'.

anwhile, inside the scan room, Tendo, through the dinsional screen, ticulously noted Chen Xing's situation and vaguely guessed so things.

This greatly surprised him.

After all, he had perfectly disguised his appearance, aura, and Stellar Energy fluctuations.

So perfectly that even Tendo himself couldn't find any flaws.

But Chen Xing seed to have caught sothing unusual in a fleeting glance.

Is this the terrifying 'intuition' of Multiverse No. 2?

Chen Xing, you truly are quite perceptive.

After his mont of sighing with emotion, Tendo no longer paid attention to these things and instead focused on dealing with the Stellar Energy scan before him.

Just as everyone has unique fingerprints.

A 'unique' Stellar Source naturally also possesses its own, almost singular, Stellar Energy fluctuations.

The so-called Stellar Energy scan is how the Stellar Envoy Association determines what the scanned person's 'Stellar Source' is, by scanning these specific 'Stellar Energy fluctuations'.

This, in turn, verifies whether the information the person provided contains any concealnt.

It would undoubtedly be very difficult for an ordinary person to circumvent this detection.

But Tendo was different.

Because although his Vector Control hadn't reached the point where it could alter the properties of Stellar Energy.

It was quite easy to make his Stellar Energy change into specific fluctuations.

Therefore, relying solely on these basic checks, the current Stellar Envoy Association... couldn't stop him.
