Ethan Hall watched as the building collapsed with rubbles and dust rising high in the sky, montarily covering the surroundings.
"Tch. The shooter got away," He muttered and glanced at his badge which showed no change from the 134 eliminations he had amassed. It seed Alex was not the highest as he had presud. So of the students had been eliminated others without rest. Naturally, they didn't just rely on their abilities, but mostly on their weapons and martial arts.
Ethan was a normal human with dark, blue eyes and of course, good-looking. Just like everyone here, he fell short of the requirent to advance. This was mostly his fault as he slacked off during the school year. He wasn't just dallying around doing nothing, but he felt that if he didn't have the sa resources as the ones in the higher classes did, then it wouldn't matter how fast he cultivated.
Right now, he was working hard to change that as this provided the perfect opportunity to showcase what he was made of, advance to the main competition and show those pompous students what a real hunter was capable of. Just because he didn't awaken with high stats didn't an he was weak. What even vexed him the most was the student nad Alexander Gray.
That student had the perfect environnt and resources to grow as fast as possible and still failed to raise his level. He did not know the reasons behind such a thing, and he did not care. He had already taken it upon himself to eliminate him if he saw him anywhere.
Looking at the rubble from the destruction of the building, he moved toward it to see if the shooter indeed escaped or was trapped and injured. As he drew closer, his guard was up for any surprises, both before him and behind him. He looked around and found nothing, if the shooter didn't die from this, then the chances of them escaping were high.
He looked around and noticed so other students coming to the area, obviously drawn here by the commotion.
"Well, I can still hunt others," He shrugged and descended to et the approaching students. His speed was as impressive as his weapon, a twin blade. Once he reached one of the students who had noticed his approach, he lunged one end of his weapon at the student who replied in kind: with a sword. The clash produced a shockwave that pushed the surrounding rubbles away.
Ethan's opponent had underestimated his power as he was pushed back several tres after their first clash. Before he could recover from his surprise, Ehan was on him again, pressing his montum and pushing his opponent back. Within a few seconds, he defeated him and moved on to the next one to his right.
The female coming wanted to take advantage of their fight, but the fight ended too quickly to matter. Now, said person was coming for her. But she didn't back down. No one passed the first hour simply from luck. Of course, that also ended with the elimination of the female student.
Without resting, he dashed to his next opponent…

Abigail watched from her new hiding spot and was impressed by Ethan's prowess. They were both wind users, but she mostly focused on her archery where her elent served as a support. But looking at how Ethan was actively using his abilities to dominate his opponents inspired her.
"Maybe I should be that domineering too. But…" She pondered and then looked back at the ongoing fight that had already brought down a couple more buildings. The way he was using his abilities made her wonder if he could survive the entire twelve hours.
"Or he's counting on the battle royale ending sooner than the estimated ti." Her gaze did not leave the speedily moving students as they fought to eliminate each other. Ethan was winning against everyone he fought and quickly amassing eliminations, sothing she desperately needed to increase.
With everyone surviving having more than ten eliminations under their belt, any elimination granted a lot of points.
"Another shot won't hurt…" She said after much contemplating. She looked around for another suitable spot to take aim and fire without exposing herself too much. Ethan was too much of a hotcake right now and taking him out would put her ahead.
But right now, she failed to notice sothing as she focused on the fight going on. Soone had been able to sneak up behind her. In a chaotic space like this ruined city, anyone would want to find a hiding place and take out their opponent without exposing themselves to danger. That was what happened right now, it was purely a chance event.
As Abigail turned around to leave her hiding spot for another, her gaze landed on the fast-approaching female with two daggers and a wide grin. She was almost on Abigail, the dagger in her right hand thrust forward, aiming for her head.
"Shit!"

Abigail cussed and without a mont to waste, ducked to the right, barely dodging the blade as it went past her face, close to her cheekbone. As the dagger went past her, she and her opponent montarily locked gazes.

The montum sent the dagger straight into the walls of the floor they were on. The resounding clash alerted those down there, but most were otherwise occupied to worry about soone else's battle. But there was one person who turned and looked in that direction.
"Found you."
Ethan's mind instantly went to the archer as the boom ca from a floor high enough to provide a good shooting point for a skilled archer. Even if it wasn't the shooter, whoever he finds would serve as good points for him.
After getting rid of the remaining students around him, he dashed to the building and jumped all the way to the place where the explosive attack ca from, on the 15th floor.
He waved his twin blade creating a powerful strike that made a bigger opening for him to enter. Naturally, he didn't put too much power into that, or the building might have collapsed.
