"You misunderstand what is happening, Alexander." The Supre One said. "I do this not out of a sense of responsibility, but because I have to. Believe when I say... this would not be happening if I could help it."
Alex remained silent, staring at the Mighty Being. The Supre One had no reason to lie to him, and he was inclined to believe him. The little bit he deduced himself was proof of those words.
An unknown number of universes had been destroyed already. Pondering on this very thought, a question occurred to him. ’Will it be alright though?’
Only the Supre One could answer that question. For now, he would focus on himself and what the Supre One wanted him to do. Naturally, this was his own intent as well.
"Co with ."
The Supre One said and took a step forward, disappearing and reappearing right before the barrier of his creation, bypassing his vassals.
Despite his majestic presence, his vassals did not seem to notice him. They were focused on the creatures they were battling, drawing upon the vast reserves of the Supre One.
The void creatures, regardless of power level, were instantly erased within a 5-kilotre radius around his body. He wasn’t actively doing anything, yet his presence was more than enough to erase them all.
A mont later, Alex arrived by his side, casting a side glance at the Supre One. ’This level of power is insane...’ He mused inwardly.
While he could do sothing similar with his Nexis Radiant, the Supre One did that with just his presence — nothing more, nothing less.
That was how overpowered the Supre One was. He was still within the bounds of Alex’s domain, yet the area around his body was devoid of his domain.
’His existence refuses to be touched despite my essence being foreign.’
"I have seen what you’re capable of with that energy of yours..." The Supre One spoke, his gaze focused on the sea of void creatures now actively avoiding the space around him. "But I haven’t seen you at your strongest."
Alex nodded, turning to look ahead as well. He understood what the Supre One was implying.
"We currently stand in the space between the multiverse’s heart and the universes — the ho of all void creatures." A wave of his hand cleared a space spanning tens of light years in radius. "There exist void creatures even my vassals struggle to fight against."
Far head of the two was a group of humanoid god-level void creatures rivalling the Supre One’s height. They resembled the ones Alex dealt with before.
The only difference was that these creatures were far more powerful than the ones the vassals were currently fighting.
As if the group of void creatures numbering a total of 12 knew what the space was for, they abruptly moved and appeared inside that space, staring straight at Alex and the Supre One. They made the sa irritating sound Alex was familiar with, apparently communicating among themselves.
Around the bodies of the void creatures were the smoky black and inky essence emanating from their dark cores. This black essence compounded and expanded into so sort of domain spanning most of the empty space.
Their presence was overwhelmingly tyrannical, capable of crushing high-level universes with ease. Even a veilwalker from a high-level universe would not stand a chance with only one core.
Due to their level of power, the Supre One had made sure such void creatures didn’t make it past his barrier. It would be a cataclysmic event if they ever found their way past reality’s barrier.
"Show , Alexander..." The Supre One said. "I want to see just how different you are... Prove to that your essence has what it takes to handle what is beyond your strength; that you have the power to do what I may not be able to..."
"Yes."
Alex replied in a serious tone and took a first step forward. Imdiately, his height began to increase, gradually increasing proportionately with each step he took. By the ti he arrived right before the barrier, his height had reached 15 ters.
His Nexis Radiant flared around his body, and his clothes lted away, replaced by his black armour with white detailing — the white being the flow of his essence through the suit’s circuitry.
With a swing of his right hand, Alex conjured his spear. And the mont it made its appearance, the spear produced a continuous hum as it trembled from the power flowing through it.
The Supre One observed calmly, watching as Alex closed his eyes and took a deep breath, siphoning the surrounding void energy. White flaming essence spewed out of his eyes the mont he reopened them.
His gaze locked onto the void creatures as he finally took the final step, passing through the barrier with ease. A few million kilotres from him was the boundary of the black essence that the void creatures created.
With a thought, Alex expanded his own domain infused with corrosive properties, instantly overpowering the dark essence and erasing it from existence. The void creatures responded almost instantaneously, backing several light years away.
The domain still remained invisible. But just like the god-level void creatures he fought before, they could sohow perceive the boundaries of his domain.
’It won’t be the sa as before...’ Alex grinned slightly and spun his spear around. Before he mastered the use of his Nexis Radiant, he could not make it completely undetectable.
Now, however, things were different.
Without the absoluteness of his domain, Alex knew he would be beaten in terms of speed and power. But inside his domain, he was invincible.
As soon as Alex changed the properties of his domain, making it undetectable and free of any erasive properties, the void creatures made their move.
Alex didn’t wait for the creatures to co at him as he explosively took off to clash with them head-on. While he responded swiftly, he didn’t miss the abrupt drain on his reserves.
’Definitely not your average void creatures.’ Even so, he wasn’t worried.
The creatures spread out as they let out deafening screeches that could shake the soul if one didn’t have protection.
Twelve against one, yet Alex had an excited grin on his face. The first of the creatures lunged forward with a right hand, claws clasped together and straightened. In response, Alex spun his spear and directed the shaft at the lunging claws.
BOOM...!!!
